Hamidm sahib:
``...why does pakistan have to give up its position on kashmir - why not india ?``
This is a because of jihadist free Indian muslims.
I call it Sania Mirza, Azim Premji, Shah Rukh Khan, Irfan Pathan, and Farzana Versey advantage. Bush believes in it, Blair believes in it, Europe believes in it, and of course Putin believes in it.
Of course I believe in it too, and will accept, there is more to be delivered to minorities thru however defective Indian democracy.
Honestly, Hamidm sahib, will you deliver a chunk of land and people to extremist cancer stricken place?
Will you, if so how could you? You may be quite lonely. Today, even the most powerful man cannot take it away from however defective democracy and put it on the silver platter to be delivered to somewhere closer to talibans.
I hope you will allow India banias to enjoy this advantage.

anil: the only ``cancer stricken place`` i see is between your two ears. not the physical disease, thank god. by the mental cancer that you suffer from when you refer to a nation of 145 million people as if it is was a disease.
Pakistan is here to stay. Get this through your head. Then talk about peace and what not.

Yo Hamdim - dude, everything OK at home?... since when you became a flaming jihadi?... take a break and get out of the room, get a martini or something... if you keep going like this - you are going to kill yourself... and a bunch of kafirs with dynamite around your waist...
be careful... :)
be careful... :)

anil mian,
``extremist cancer stricken place? ``
......this is where even a normally reasonable person like you shows his extreme prejudice, but it is really not as bad as you indians would like to think (and sometimes how i make it out to be for my own nefarious reasons ) ......... be my guest some day and i promise you will have a better time in lahore or islamabad than you can ever have in delhi ........ by the way, even though i voted for bush twice, he is not exactly a very credible person at this time; as for blair and putin, they have their own credibility issues .......... but i do agree with you that india is probably a better place for some (repeat, some) minorities than pakistan - however, the kashmiris will not be a minority so they won`t have any issues unless they all turn out to be ahmedis !

mohar,
thanks for the warning ....... i will be okay as soon as you guys hand over kashmir to me - i have no idea what i will do with it but it is a matter of principle ........
......... but don`t worry, as far as i am concerned, kashmir is way down on the list of things that pakistan needs to tackle - restoring democracy, getting rid of poverty, deporting wahabis and jihadis to deoband (india) and saudi arabia, cleaning up the streets, getting people off the railroad tracks ( oh yes, we too have the same problem), introducing deodrant, opening up the liquor shops and getting women to shave their legs ............ kashmir is way down on the list but that doesn`t mean we should roll over and let the horrible hindoos have their way ..............

it is really not as bad as you indians would like to think
The way pakis are treated by DHS obviously suggest otherwise...
take stuka for example..now that he`s got a paki entry/exit mark on his passport, he can forget about working in any capacity for the US government that requires any level of clearance...

``.......... on a happier note, you and i and our chldren and grand children don`t have to worry about anything - the kashmir `problem` will be around for another hundred years or more .......``
I presume you mean the next few generations of Indians and Pakistanis; your and my children are safely parked thousands of miles away. ;)
However, my bet is that these children will be fighting over more pressing issues, such as distribution of river waters which is soon becoming a life and death issue for many.
And I will now withdraw from this Board now as many more worthy people have already joined this discussion.

See, this is exactly why Kashmir should not be discussed in decent company. :)
Aparna, maa`m, have mercy. What would you take to make this the very last time you use the word Kashmir in any of your articles?

Hamidm sahib:
You don`t have to convince me, I am too insignificant. Howver, I would acknowledge my extreme prejudice about Indian-Kashmir. Although General Musharraff must be getting tired of hearing from these leaders about extremism, Kashmir and Sania Mirza advantage. You had asked an honest question, and I gave you the honest answer. You can certanly decide if you accept or reject it.
I may take you up on Lahore for sure. My great granfather, first Indian civil surgeon of U.P., sent his son to the medical college there. I never saw my nana, but my nani used to tell me a lot of stories about my nana`s stay there, and would certainly like to visit that medical college some day.
Also, my father used to tell me that one branches of Kapuria`s went to Quetta, other to Lahore, third to Patiala and fourth (our family) settled in Delhi. I have seen the anscetoral home in Delhi, opposite Ballimaran, which, I was told, was registered during Moghul time. My uncles, part of dead culture, never liked punjabi invasion of Delhi after the partition. Therefore, Delhi has a very special place for me.

Please get it in your head, that I have been saying that Pakistan is here to stay. In case, you have any doubt please quote.
While at it, Janaab Tahmed, I have fought and indeed won the real cancer of blood as well. Please do help your President fight a different cancer that has struck your favorite country.

anil: You referred to Pakistan as a cancer. That is your opinion, it reflects your hatred for the very existence of Pakistan, and you are welcome to it.
In response, I told you what I thought of someone who demonstrates this hatred for an entire nation, namely that you need to get used to the idea that Pakistan is there.
And you, instead of the apology you owe to 145 million Pakistanis for your disgusting remark, instead of any self-reflection on the roots of your hatred for Pakistan, you blandly state that you are OK with the existence of Pakistan because you said so in the past, and switch to the role of the hurt soul!! Well - when you refer to Pakistan as a cancer, then you are clearly not OK with its existence. So, no matter how many times you said you accept the existence of Pakistan, you contradicted all that when you made this remark.
And not content with claiming you think the opposite of what you said (and refuse to apologize for or retract your disgusting remark), you try to paint me as the bad guy for responding to disgusting remark about Pakistan by advising me that you once suffered from cancer in real life!! Well tell me this, Mr. overclever Kapadia - if you are really so sensitive to references to cancer, why did you chose to refer to Pakistan as a cancer to begin with?
Excuse me if the above question seems insensitive, but perhaps my original advice to you was not off the mark - get used to the idea of Pakistan. You can either hate it, or you can ignore it, or you can love it. The choice is yours and you are the one who will be better off or worse off depending on what you chose. Pakistan will be fine no matter what you wish upon it.
As for your personal life, I wish good health, a long life, prosperity and happiness to you and to everyone else in India. Why should anyone wish anything else to another nation?

Stop insulting me, just because you refuse you read and understand what I have written. I find it disgusting that you instead of stopping will continue to insult me by referring your own imagination to ``You referred to Pakistan as a cancer.``. At least I have more value than you Janaab, that I do not get involved in such non-sense. I do not need anything from you. You have shown to me how you distort to suit yout convenience, and I have no interest in engaging in any dialog with you. Please read and undestand what I have written when you are able and ready to read and understand.
Thanks
