But some of the wise guys sayings are still appreciated for its aptness...for example Kabirs observations in the form of sayings is widely understood and quoted atleast in nortern India

but there is truth in `he who forgets repeats the same mistake `... `you do not know ehere you are going until you REMEMBER where you came from...so on and so forth
