There was this interesting girl from Haryana who deflated Shah Rukh`s baloon effectively.
When as usual SRK asked her to say ``kaho mujhay galay lagaa lo``.....she replied,`` No, mujhay tmharay galay lagnay ka koyi shauq nahiN hai, I will only say I quit``
SRK`s face was only to be seen at that time....he then asked girl`s mother to do that and she obliged.

SRK has been doing these things (hugging etc) since last 18 years.....mullahs have said anything till now. Why bring mullahs into this anyway?
#3 Posted by bjkumar on February 2, 2007 12:26:10 pm
Hugging is done best when it is done spontaneously.
Thinking “should I or shouldn’t I” messes it up!
I mean, come on, it’s not like Shah Rukh Khan is asking the ladies to take off clothes and jump into a Jacuzzi with him! And Sameena, now that the hubby has put up the challenge – “you will never be able to do it” – hey, it’s all the more reason to do it! Who wants to hear for the rest of the life that “you are so predictable” or “I can read you like a book”! Nothing could be worse than that – certainly not a teeny, weenie, little bit of a hug!
I doubt the mullah would mind – if he does, one can always threaten to send him a hugger for himself – your hubby, of course! That should quiet him – unless, unless, unless,….
Unless he LIKES hugging men! (In which case, scratch this thought. (Your hubby may mind – unless he is a tree-hugger, or something!))
Indians in general need to be more upfront with their emotions unlike the present lot – which usually appears severely constipated in that department.
I love Shah Rukh Khan! What a guy! I think he is definitely on to something here. I think I should write to him and ask him to hug you – show or not!! Come to think of it, we could pay his charity organization a fee for the hugs and even arrange a special discount for chowk ladies (perhaps even the gents! (Hey, if I can get some commissions, I could hug him myself!))

Ms. Sameena Khan:
I congratulate you on the nice article about KBC.
However I wish to point out the following errors in the article.
1. The contestant in question did embrace SRK in the beginning when her name was announced
as the winner among ten contestants.
2. The show in question was on Thursday, February 01, 2007 and not on Wednesday,
January 31, 2007.
3. The Prize money was not 25 lakhs, it was half of that amount.

hmmm....
SRK is a good actor --a bit melodramatic and theatrical if you ask me compared to European actors (but that is prob. the director`s fault not his)--but good looking? Come on! Give me a break. He is short and dark and doesn`t even have very finely structured features. If he wasn`t famous these same ladies like miss sameena wouldn`t even give him the time of day. He looks like someone`s naukar man!

HAHAHAHA...this was a good read. Ok, here`s the deal...if you ever change your mind and decide to hug SRK...just make sure you show the damn Mullah`s a finger on national tv. By the way, even watching TV was considered un-Islamic by the Mullahs until they invaded the evil box and started using it for their own propagandas...

The mullahs should have been up in arms by now over SRK`s unIslamic behaviour, but luckily it appears Bollywood precedes religion, even for the most fanatical among us! :)
Shah Rukh is getting better- I am not a fan of his and I surely would, if ever the chance presented itself, not react with wild enthusiasm to his offers of giant hugs and intimate massages- but he has definitely improved from the first episode where he looked as uncomfortable as a cat on a hot tin roof. But he`s an actor after all and seems to be settling into his KBC skin now. Good for him.
What I find weird is that SRK seems to want to do everything his self-professed idol Amitabh Bachchan does- he does a DON, he becomes ICICI Bank`s brand ambassador, he hosts KBC- it`s almost as if he is desperate to prove that he is no less than the Big B. Insecurity is the hallmark of most stars, but this is gettign a bit too obvious- Bachchan`s gentle jibe when asked about it (something to the effect that SRK copying him helped keep him on his toes and keep improving) proves this.
It would have been understandable if Abhishek Bachchan were to behave this way- one can imagine the uncomfortable position he is in, trying to step into his Pop`s oversized sh0oes as it were. But amazingly, lil B has found himself a niche (not a niche entirely, since he`s rapidly emerging as the leading face in Bollywood) that is far removed from his Dad`s larger-than-life image. Good for him.
Anyway, it all makes for good prime time TV. KBC is one show I will always have a soft corner for, since it brought one of my passions- quizzing- to the masses.

Short = Ugly
Tall = Beautiful
Fair = Beautiful
Dark = Ugly
Sharp ``structured`` Features = beautiful
Smooth Features = Ugly
I would expect people who claim to follow the inner path not to make such stupid superimpositions. Calling SRK as a ``naukar`` only makes them look like an Arabian racist.

#9 Burpinder...since you mention Amitabh Bachan, perhaps you could shed some light on this: why is he so revered in India ? Other than two or three films of slightly better quality than the ususal bollywood films, what does he have to his credit ? Does India pick its heroes and legends now from amongst those who dance from tree to tree in unreal, nonsensical bollywood films ? The guy is not even known to have done any significant work for the good of the general public....neither in the arts nor generally. Please enlighten us.

Re: # 10
i was commenting specifically on SRK`s looks. I have seen plenty of dark skinned, short, smooth featured people who are, to me, very attractive so plz dont generalise.
and do u honestly believe if SRK wasn`t famous many of these people who idolise him would give him the time of day?

Beauty, after all, is in the eye of the beholder. Here is a sample of what wolf Naqshi considers TRULY handsome.

Another useless article. ``I wanna hug SRK, my husband is cool with it, but Mullah scare me``.
I am willing to write it down, just like the writers ghairatmand husband, to do whatever on stage with SRK or whoever agrees to do the job, and no Mullah will say anything.
Have fun.

He is short and dark
I`ve seen him in person..he`s not dark..he`s as fair as any paki you`d care to name..he is a little thinner than he looks on screen..and a complete chain smoker..
