Re: # 228 Tahmed 32
And here is another delectable oxymoronic assertion from you:
In #226 you give Musharraf `credit` for pursuing a `responsible policy` `effectively`. Then, in exactly ONE post later (#228) you say, `Musharaff is wrong in his policy...`. Never does it cross your mind that his policies (Afghan Jehad, appeals to GW Bush to `talk` to Taleban after 9/11, Kargil fiasco, and numerous others) are as muddled as horse shit. Yet, you jump back and forth across the fence like a trapeze artist. Hamidm (whom Raw Dust erroneously compared with you) is unambiguously clear in lampooning the General-President, but not you!!
See my point about being disingenuous in #225. At best you are one confused man. At worst, you are indeed disingenuous.
QED. Ciao

Re: # 228 Tahmed
``...Musharaff is wrong in his policy of prolonging his stay in power by pushing down the mainstream parties while giving religious parties an edge up...``
Right, and when these religious parties follow his diktat through either jehad in Kashmir, or his prized commandos capture peaks in Kargil, and India threatens to pay back in the same coin, you scurry over to his side of the fence, don`t you - and then that is when all your talk about missiles and bombs starts!
Explain that!

#225 very well. let me shift positions right now and actually respond to your post.
There is no inconsistency between talking about a strong defence against a hostile nation on the one hand, and seeking peace and friendship on the other. This is a responsible policy by any international standard. And given that musharaff is has persued it quite effectively, I give him credit.

Re: # 226
Well, let us start with Afghanistan. How do you feel defending your dictator Musharraf while looking the other way to his support for Taliban? Which side of the fence are you on?

PewResearch #220 ``Have a nice day`` means ``I have no interest in your views``. No doublespeak here.

PewResearch:
Tahmed, Hamidm and zeemax are one their way out. These guys invested their entire lives in notions of pakistanyat that sadly is going to selfdestruct (as if 71 wasnt enuff) in their lifetime namely: kashmir, freedom struggle and pakistani racial chauvinism. The game has suddenly been tuned on its head in front of them. Sit back and enjoy the show. It is progressing at a quite a speed on PBS and on the front and op-ed pages of major International newspapers.

Re: # 221 Raw Dust
Actually, Tahmed32 is the most disingenuous of the three. At least, zeemax and hamidm are consistent with their positions, whereas Tahmed32 wavers from one end to the other, and in the end satisfies nobody. His shifting positions cast a deeper shadow over his self-righteous character as compared to the other two, and reveal a streak of unbridled pride that does not mesh with reality. One moment he is quoting the Koran and mouthing meaningless slogans on peace and brotherhood, but a few posts later, he is defending his dictator leader and talking up missiles and bombs! Zeemax can be disregarded because he is vile, but powerless. His type don`t amount to much.
Finally, it is not fair to compare Hamidm with the other two. Hamidm is in a class all by himself. His irreverent humor has brought many a smile to me and brightened up a moment. He is straightforward, says what he means, and means what he says. And most importantly, has no ideological agenda, beyond common sense - I`ll buy him a drink anytime! He qualifies as one of Chowk`s most gifted contributors.

Actually zeemax, I returned and answered you in a detail. you asked me what the formula should be and I gave you one. But I guess you are a Punjabi and you are not ready to listen to reasoning. One thing I have known living in Pakistan is that you cannot do two thing with a Punjabi. One is Dosti and one is arguing. and you are the prime example of why in both cases. But it seems like you come here to pick fights with every person who disagrees with your point and then prove you wrong.
I saw your posts about how everyone in America is gay and lesbian and how your ``Punjab`` is the best which is why you left. How everyone was ready to suck you but it was your complete faith in yourself which kept you a virgin in this dirty country. I dont know but aren`t you ashamed that the nation of penis-suckers is home to most of your kind. Does that mean mopst Punjabis are penis-suckers too or just that they are besharam to no end selling their souls to drive taxis in Manahttan. And by the way your description of Manhattan and how girls are sucking guys off is hillarious. If you would have switched the girl and guy story with a drug addict it would be more believable or you could have just used your mother as an example. I am pretty sure it would be more believable to read why she would be sucking a guy in a subway station....(lol) I cannot wait for your intelligent reply where you will try to argue against everything I said and will prove to me how your mother is not sucking anyone and it was truly a gori not your mommy. You will also try to explain how that gori could not even speak punjabi, so I am waiting anxiously for you reply....

#214 thanks for the clarification. there is enough bs going around on chowk to add ethnic bs as well.

#215 the moron also continued to fly the eastern command flag on his official car after returning to pakistan - and removed it only after being reminded that the eastern command no longer existed. :-)

No I am a Punjabi and have great love for my kind. In that paragraph I was trying to use only Urdu but like a typical Punjabi a part of me just came (oozed) out. That’s all!

tehsinabbasi: You seem to have a deep hatred for panjabis (``panjabi oozed out``). Why is this so?

There`s nothing called ‘bud sey budnam bura’. It is a punjabi proverb. So ...
And yes .. there`re idiots and there`re idiots .. and hasanmehmood takes the prize. When I actually put up a chart of the incomes by quintiles of all the provinces alongwith their contributions to tax, it turned out Punjab pays the most taxes even though Urban Sind has the highest incomes. That`s when he ran away and never returned to answer ...
