Zainab -

Thanks for writing a sweet perspective. I am sure you will not let your life be determined by the experiences of Mrs. XYZ. Hopefully, as a grown-up you will come across your own experiences that will help you make better decisions in life. Good Luck! Happy Women`s Day!

I think this article is full of it. Majority of women regardless of ethnic background, seem to be caught up in ``womens rights``, ``women day``...etc etc, but even then there are women that have staked their name in the ground even before all these ``women activist groups`` came into existence. Look at Florence Nightingale, Emma Lazarus, Golda Meir... just a few, they all exceled because they were dedicated to their professions and didnt give a hoot about ``womens rights``. Whats next bring your cat to work, or is it going to be a bring your pet gerbil?
P.S Please note that I have deliberately omitted Benazir Bhutto, BanglaDeshan Chick, Indira and the Philipino babe... all of them were born in well to do families and basically the family name carried them.
