hassan what evidence is their that inzi is letting his religious duties interfere with his cricket? if he prays during the breaks etc so what?

he seems the most genuinely likeable cricketer we`ve ever had. i`ve never met the man but i respect him. he is proud of himself, his nation and his deen and he wears it on his sleeve. so what? do the uncle-toms not like it when someone is proud of their faith?

the other reason his record over the past couple of years is prob not so good as before is that he is getting on in years. yusuf just had the greatest year of his career breaking the record for the most runs in a calendar year so obviously his doing sajdah when making a century, or growing a beard etc. hasn`t affected his cricket.

Once again, the idiots have made this into a Hindu/Muslim discussion. To all the Hindus - Your religion sucks. Instead of defending your religion, go teach your women to do something - anything other than dance and sign. Aren`t you tired of watching Your mothers and daughters do nothing but naach. Hi dumbo FYI Indian girls are the best students and Pakistani boys are the worst in Britain. When was the last time you saw Sati in Hyde Park? Mr. Naqshbandi regarding your post # 5 don`t you think one idiot like zeemax is enough for this web site. Nobody has a problem with Inzimam taking Allah`s name. The problem is this mentality of mullahs that I am right and everyone else is wrong. Firstly, Inzimam WAS a great batsman NOT is. His captaincy is lame and he has shown time and again his liking for the players who think like him. His choice of Mushtaq as bowling coach and Imran Nazir as a batsman for the world cup is the proof. Also, if Inzimam takes Allah`s name theere is nothing wrong with it but all of a sudden this tablighi factor in our cricket team is something to be weary about. These tablighi jamat walas have destroyed everything they get invloved in. You have seen the disastrous results on the cricket team also. Yousuf, has turned a leaf but you dont see him preaching to everyone during his conferences and interviews. The problem is not Inzi preaching but his job is NOT preaching. His job is getting himself and his teammates ready to play cricket. Like I said, when he retires he should go preach. But right now as a captain of the cricket team he should make sure that the best talent is there (including coaches) and not care about who has a dari and who does not. From your name I can guess that you are one of those creatures who tableegh. Word of advice for you. If you stop doing your job and just preach then you will get fired; just like Inzi should be....
