HP Sahib, isn`t it a fact that Ahmadis are persecuted in Pakistan? Hasn`t the state excommunicated them from the Islamic fold? How many Pakis have protested against this excommunication? Doesn`t it mean the majority of Pakis are OK with it?

``Politics plays a major part in disputes like this.``
That says it all, harish. On both sides, Ahmedi and non-Ahmedi. It`s religious only to the extent that religion and politics often overlap.

You are making a mistake when you say this,``You are displaying the same intolerance that Muslims in Pakistan have displayed towards Ahmadis..``
Most Muslims in Pakistan have no problem whatsoever with Ahmedis. There is no need for generalization and stereotyping.
Politics plays a major part in disputes like this.

Yaar Kaal, I always thought you were a sane, rational and likeable interactor, but you seem to be going overboard here..what`s wrong if Sattar wants to call himself a Muslim? You may not have a liking for identity, but that does not mean others don`t hold their identities close to their hearts. You are displaying the same intolerance that Muslims in Pakistan have displayed towards Ahmadis..can Islam be in threat just because Sattar considers himself a Muslim?

Thanks Sattar bhai. I always need a lot of luck, constantly having to live under the British protection, Hindoo protection, or Christian protection.
That protection needs to be removed, so my eyes can be opened.

Keep trying to dislodge it ...

The question is why we do we in India allow such grave insult to Islam to continue to exist?
#342 Posted by KaalChakra on April 25, 2007 2:20:19 pm
Zeemax`s Islam is an evil religion. My Ahemdism is the hope of mankind. Zeemax`s Prophet was a demon. My Prophet was the True Prophet of Allah, the Great Nabi. The Long-awaited Rasool.
LOL, this is worse than pitiable, sattar sahib. Are you sure there is no substance to the charge that the British were behind all this? :)

kaal MiaN (#338),
No need to get so defensive. You should thump your chest on mention of Virginia tech psycho and proudly say, “… me too, some day …”.
Yet once again I’ll explain (re #287, #292): I have identified zeemax’s Islam, and not Islam, as an evil religion. Try to remember this distinction if you ever get your head out of your rear :)

..... and believe me .. if the accused is not punished .... the Burqas will be back to scare the hell out of everyone :)

#331 by harish_hyd,
No. I`m celebrating this part of the story which you perhaps didn`t read:
``The ruling party chief also met two sisters who had taken refuge in Lal Masjid after being sexually abused by an influential man in Jehlum.
He assured the victims that they would be provided justice and the accused would be punished.
He said the district police office of Jhelum would visit Lal Masjid on Wednesday and would register a case against the accused, Azhar Iqbal.``

Whatever, my friend. You have already identified Islam as an evil religion. Then by calling zeemax`s ideas demonic, you almost implied that Mohammad himself was a demon sent on earth to spread terror and kill innocent people.
Frankly, with those views, you can`t blame others who are not happy to hear you blindly insist on calling yourself a Muslim.

kaal dude, I can accept your views as ramblings of a confused mind. There are too many nutcases in the world; welcome to the party.
Reading your post, Nazis and the Virginia tech psycho come to mind. I am only wondering when you will deliver a video to NBC …

Krishna_abcd
The reference there was to an entire logic system - which includes unique set of premises; but also the way of defining reality (basic propositions), separating fact from fiction, good/desirable from bad/undesirable (value system), understanding the effects and the operation of the self and the rest of the world (model of reality), etc. It`s an impressively finely tuned vast intellectual edifice - completely, radically different from (antithetical to) that of Hinduism, for instance, but extremely impressive in its own right. (and yes, Muhammad`s finality, as intelligent people like you would understand it, is one of its unremovable, nonnegotiable blocks).
The word `sincerity` was meant in all sincerity. Naturally, noone in their right mind will support random killing of all innocent people. But opinions will differ on, at any time, who or what is innocent, and who all are implicated in any great crime. Furthermore, when systems clash, when one system attempts to replace another, defense of all innocent lives cannot be the top priority (except for the system which harbors or can be deceived into harboring, a death-wish of its own).
By the way, within Islamic tradition, there is a time-honored, much valued notion of constant revolution (a sort of divinely mandated social jihad, except that it`s made perpetual). Systems don`t grow and spread and regenerate for nothing.
Thanks, sattar sahib, for reminding me about krishna_abcd`s questions. You may please continue your ahmedi Jihad, as you will.

kaal MiaN (#327),
You well deserve the epithet I used for you. If it does not tax your mind too much, read the full sentence.
” … If you raise specific criticism against others, but ramble philosophically when pressed on the issue, you come across as a low IQ, fucking idiot …”
And your opinions are of little interest to me ... so thanks, but no, thanks.
BTW, krishna_abcd too has concerns regarding you! Good luck!
