Harimau Iyer April 3, 2007

harimau, please don`t talk nonsense you old brahmin fool. Generations of your forefathers have preyed upon the blood and sweat of innocent backward castes. if you are educated, cultured, well-off, employed, contributing to your country it is because of the evil deeds of your brahmin ancestors and not some big effort on your part. don`t give us that claptrap about studying hard, living frugally so your kids can have a better life than your own, having a good work ethic, dreaming big, investing in your future etc etc.
OBC and SC/ST peoples are the true son of the soils who shall reclaim what is rightfully theirs led ably by the esteemed leaders like Dr. Kalaignar. Backwards shall not rest till each Brahmin punk is thrown out of the state of Tamil Nadu, after which our great state shall be 100% backward. What a glorius win for backwardness it shall be!

Harimau, reservations for OBCs are a done deal. It is a question of when not if. There is nothing much that you or I can do about it.
On the brighter side, I think that it may actually help in the economic growth of India. The brahmins and upper castes will do always do well, especially since their seats will not be reduced. The non-creamy backwards who can never compete on a equal playing field will get a chance to move into the middle class. That means an even larger middle class, larger consumer base, more economic demand for goods/services, more jobs in the private sector and so forth. I am sure that there will be an explosion of more IITs/IIMs as well. At the end of the day, our objective must be to create a society where everyone leads at least a middle class lifestyle i.e. poverty eradication. Thats the only way we can move from the third world to at least the status of a Taiwan or South Korea. Otherwise we have to listen to barbs about slums and people shitting on rail tracks for the rest of our lives.

I would love to see how many hindoos participate in this discussion which has everything to do with them instead of them all congregating on anything to do with Pakistan &/or Islam which has nothing to do with them:~)

Does title has anything to do with the article?
I too have problem with the track record of Indian communists. They were spineless, tug themselves to a prominent communist country, seek inspiration even from Nepali communists. They voted 4 the creation of Pakistan (Pak kicked their arses afterwards; they survive under a pseudonym in Pakistan i.e Labour Party, supported China than India during 1961 war). Indian communists stand for a united AP (a 50 year old slogan) than bi/trifurcation of AP. They cling to slogans even some of them outdated*.
However we shall give credit to the devil where it`s due. Communists are proven democrats in India. I have had many commie friends since college days. It`s kinda something wrong if u not progressive (i.e commie)!
Coming to the body of the article. Harimau, u ended up being a racist phucker. As for reservations, the policy shud be revised as we move in time. Unfortunately the dynosaurs of Indian politics never upgrade their minds & finetune the policies according to the times. This policy is dividing students when they are learning in schools and colleges. Instead of excluding `creay layer`, why not a policy on economic criteria (argh!)?
As for hoi polloi, I hope they are moving in the direction where hair-cutting is no longer the job of hajjam community, tailoring is not the job of darjees & being custodian of gods in sanctum sanctorums is not the job of Barhmins. In Andhra some Saiva temples have apointed non-Brahmin priests. Some non-hajjams are doing hair-cutting in big towns/cities, some Rajus (Rajputs) are running septic latrine cleaning jobs (more money).
If u are still sticking to birth-based high-low paradigm then put ur head back in sand (like an ostrich does). By the bye, u can be born as Zeemax (Wanchai master) in ur next life and be effed by Harimau who was Zeemax in his earlier life. Birth is a matter of accident, buddhoo.
*I remeber seeing a May Day procession in 1996 in Ahmedabad (East of Sabarmati). They are shouting, `gali gali me shore hai, Rajiv Gandhi chor hai`. The effing Rajiv was dead in 1991!

you were trying to do too much in one article, or was it too much bile for one liver? :), so with the sad result is that you arent saying much.
I do agree with the SC judgement, the basis is mainly vote bank politics, but our dalit brothers are all up in arms as the brahmin SC is violating some strange (known only to them) basis for resource allocation. So they are all now foaming away to glory.
I only wish they could have done this on an economic basis rather than on a caste basis, but then, you need a big powerful set of cojones, like indira gandhi had, to get that mobilised as an identity over and above the usual claptrap pushed by the various moronic politicians.

Who cares for the commies! They are dead duck.
Who cares (even less) for the Indian commies! They are even deader duck!
The commies have got everything wrong.
The problem is ...
They still have substantial support among the poor masses. Add that to a useless law-and-order system and they will be there to trouble India for the long term.
So the commies are dead duck - everywhere except in parts of India (the recent attack in Riga, Bihar provide just one example) - and those parts are truly out of luck!
#1 Burps, the problem is in assigning benefits based on race and not based on economic condition and means. In segregation, lie the seeds of separation and injustice - for segregation is self-reinforcing! Politicians with a proven track record of bootlicking are the last fools to be trusted with social engineering!

Also - Harimau is complaining about how Tamilnad Chief Minster is shutting down the state and even national services to ``protest`` against SC orders... That is completely lunatic... and I agree with Harimau there...
but then such stuff is well tolerated in tamil land...

No, hoist is an irregular past tense of the verb ``hoise`` . It`s like saying burnt by his own fire instead of using ``burned by his own fire``. Tis english not American. -)

how will granting ``fake`` degrees and diplomas to undeserving students, reserving jobs in private sector (soon to come) for unqualified people make society more productive and resourceful?
how will the industry/society build on the strength of reservation not quality support innovation and growth.
anything done at the cost of merit and quality will handicap the nation.

sometime back some ``securalists`` had sued shiv sena/bjp for calling bandh and the subsequent loss to exchequer.
how come this time no one is suing Idiotnidhi?
