While I appreciate your loyalty in defending your Urdu-speaking predominantly Muhajir elite second cousins, who dominate this site (as the rest of us non-Muhajirs toil away in an intellectually proletariat non-existence), I must point out the inconsistencies in your reply to my factually correction accusations:

...This, of course, is not true.....Name one pure Pakistani Punjabi in Chowk mgmt (not to mention, one Sindhi, Baluchi or Pathan)....Granted, the intellectual capacity of Sindhis and Baluchis and Pathans has not reached a stage where they can engage in intelligent discourse (or even non-intelligent discourse), but certainly us Punjabi speakers have some intellect. It may be limited, but it is there......Are not the greatest Urdu poets of the 20th century all Punjabi speakers - Faiz and Iqbal to mention a few........

The current and past top mgmt/writers of Chowk is as all Muhajir/Karachi - Saima Shah, Safwan Shah, Umair Khan, Shandana Minhas, Beena Sarwar, Bina Shah, etc. etc........Even the token Punjabi, NHK, actually lives in Karachi........and Ferozek is half Karachi........Not to mention Karachi`s very own Kipling, temporal.......Hiding behind Punjabi and Pathan names like Minhas, Shah and Khan may disguise their Muhajir/Karachi identities to many, but not to everyone.......

``Dost-mittar is already a featured writer.....Veeresh too is a Punjabi, but not the ‘pure’ one…``

Vereesh, we all know, is there for his good looks and not for his Punjabi-ness - pure or impure.......He is the eye-candy which attracts non-intellectuals to this otherwise mediocre looking Muhajir mgmt of Chowk.........

As for Dost-mittar, all I can say is that this is what it had to come down to......80% of the Punjabis of the world reside in Pakistan........Out of the remaining, 15% are Sardarjis, who as we know are even less intellecutally inclined that us Punjabi-speaking Pakistanis (hence they can neither be management nor writers).......This leaves 5% Indian Punjabis.......So out of all the Punjabis in the world, the only two Chowk mgmt could find were Indian Punjabis.......What about Urstruly?.......Why not him?.......Even a broken clock is correct, twice a day...........

The Muhajir mgmt of Chowk could not find a single Pakistani Punjabi to be featured, but found two in India!!!

Yes, I have nothing against you.........However, I am still curious regarding the passage of the torch from the Urdu-speaking mgmt of Karachi to the Urdu-speaking mgmt. across the border........The ultimate insults to the Sindhis, Pathans and Punjabis on the right side of the border........

Yes, much like Danish Kaneria is a member of the Pakistan cricket team and Condeleeza Rice of the Bush cabinet.......A sole token symbol to hide the Urdu-speaking/Muhajir/Karachi elite biases that those of us living on the wrong side of the ethnic railroad tracks (be it in Toronto, San Jose, or Chakwal) are being told to be satisfied with........Surely, it would not be on the front page, had the main character not been from Karachi........She was originally supposed to be a Punjabi from Lahore..........How in the world could a girl from Karachi be so good looking?.........Hence, I must confess, I was forced, in a moment of weakness, to sacrifice the integrity of my pen, for the seductive lures of fame and fortune......thereby making the main character a Muhajir to play to the egos of Chowk`s Muhajir/Urdu speaking mgmt.........Lo and behold, the story ends up on the front page, when other betters ones with Punjabi references never made it..........

I don not think Mohajir term was started just in 70`s.......I guess it goes way back to the era of Partition................

I am really very disappointed in you. Now you are sounding exactly like the Serbs. First they hit Sarajevo`s market place when innocent people had lined up to buy bread. After the heavy mortar attack, with pools of blood everywhere and dead, injured bodies sprawled all over the square, the Serbs` spokesman claimed that the Bosnian Muslims hit their own community just to get international sympathy.

Sir, eventually the Serbs lost and all their cruelty, hypocrisy, and lies are there for all to see. Even Serbs in Belgrade now acknowledge the sins of their extremists. If it can happen to Serbs in Belgrade, it can certainly happen to Punjabis in Lahore. :)

Your fascination with human excrement has reminded me of a joke, which goes like this:
