abu #850,
This “proof” thing works both ways … sometimes against you if you are not careful.
So before getting too excited, provide proof of Islam that would be acceptable to most people. Unless you do that, you are really a bad Muslim. So no banana for you! This time zeemax gets your banana.
zeemax (#855), that was a low-blow. No, we don’t want him either. He would bore us to death by never-ending lectures on western democracies and his bumper-sticker, bland, one-line thoughts. No, thank you. For now, he gets to be one of you …

........ is it just a coincidence that like his predecessor umar bin khattab was also a father-in -law of the prophet (pbuh)? ......... this practice of trading daughters and incenstous consanguinity for political gain is still common in the muslim world - the chaudaries of gujarat are carying on this great tradition in pakistan ..........

#857 You say you dont support kingships - then reflect upon the question I have for you in #859 and tell me what I am missing.
An illiterate peasants son raised and brainwashed in a madrassah has an excuse for being fooled on such simple points - you, as an educated adult man, have no right to be so easily fooled!!

#857 as: ``Umer Bin al khatab RAW formed a council of elders ``
A council of elders still denies the basic right of voting rights for all adults. These ``elders`` are not all elders in society either, but a tiny percentage of all elders in society who were chosen by the king. Just like the qazis.
This may have been a step forward than the norm for kingships, but was no different than reasonably intelligent kings in all societies, muslim and non-muslim.

#857 ``Kingship is a western phenomenon ``
Please remain within the boundries of reason. What is a khalifa if not a king?

Re: # 851
Either you don`t understand english or have a prejudice. where did I say anything about mullahs or maulvis? Can you try to be original and not repeat the rhetoric from daniel pipe`s website. Kingship is a western phenomenon my dear sir that Muslim thugs borrowed, just read a book and you`ll find out that when Umer Bin al khatab RAW formed a council of elders to brainstorm and see who the next ruler should be, popular consensus amongst those elders especially Abdu-rehamn bin Auf was that Abdullah bin Umer was probably the most apt choice. Omer Bin Al Khatab became furious with him and said that even if he is the best choice i dont want to set a precedent that Khilafah of the muslimeen is an ancestral property that should handed down to family. Go read my previous post again and if you reach the same conclusion that i some how support the kingship or forced mullah rule as you did in ur previous post than i think its time for a doctors visit and anymore logical discourse is probably going to be futile

I don`t know what you`re talking about. tahmed32 saheb belongs to your community so why`re you arguing with him?

I can live without a banana, i do wish i was lucky enuuff to get some proof of mirza sahab`s prophethood so i can shut these nay sayers. But i understand its probably good for us not to have even a hint of the evidence.

Couldn`t resist googling for that ... and wasn`t disappointed:
If they repeatedly make the same request, the man who has been called the Picasso of vaginas will attempt to turn wish into reality. He is currently developing what he calls a “lip tuck,” a facelift of sorts that would shrink sagging skin around the vulva and create a more “youthful appearance.”
He hones new techniques on animal parts — chicken thighs, turkey legs and pig`s ears — until he is ready to work on women.
“It`s basically all about art. I`m an artist.”
If it isn`t meat, what else is it?
Read on ... Designer vaginas.

I am a fan of the Khilafah of Umer Bin Al Khatab RAW and Umer bin abdul Aziz Rahim ullah Allayh.
Why not a fan of Abdul Sabzi wala if the latter does his job as diligently and as honestly as any khalifah? Just because someone has a powerful position in society does not make him a better man. It is this kingship culture of centuries past that the rest of the world has discarded but which continues to be the goal of too many muslims.
Instead of focussing on personalities, you should be thinking of systems. And again, the rest of the world has slowly woken up to the fact that it is political checks and balances and the guarantee of basic rights of all individuals that enables a society to move forward rather than be stuck in the rut of centuries past. The maulvis are the most undemocratic individuals on earth - and therefore natural allies of dictators and kings as they have been in centuries past (the concept of a parliament has been unheard of in muslim societies in the past - and kings simply had paid qazis who then issued edicts that became sharia).
understand this, and you will realize how the direction you are headed leads nowhere except backwards into more primitive times of rule of the king rather than rule of the law.

Bad Muslim. No banana.

Urstruly, zeemax …
Not to put too fine a point on this, but do review #694 from tahmed Sahib.
In order to validate his belief, Sahib has finally caved and resorted to citing views of “ullema and 95% support from Muslims”. This is quite a departure from his usual position, where he only discusses Quran and nothing else (not that there is anything wrong with it).
From now on, when it comes to khilafaat, slaughtering goats on eid, praising Bukhari, giving credence to ahadith, revering prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and Khulfaa-e-Rashideen … tahmed is your boy. Consider this a gift from an Ahmadi friend (grin).
Ok, you both may now stop high-fiving each other!
+++
tahmed, no hard feelings, I hope. I am merely having some fun at your expense. But then again, you asked for it. I do wish you had not taken the “Fifth” on this issue. But if a bimbo like Monica Goodling can talk after taking the Fifth, I hope you can too. Not that I am counting on it. Have a great weekend!
