One wonders why these Muhajirs felt insecure in India or maybe threatened in terms of their economic future. These lowlifes I think are too damned clever.
This article was about the peace loving Muhajirs (as described by Salim Chauhan who were to form an alliance with the Sindhi, Pathan, Baloch, Hindu and Kristis to overthrow Punjabi hegemony over Panjab and end paindoo ness etc) and the nice little tea party they had in Karachi.
Look what it has turned out to be. Somebody is talking about Ahmadi, some about Sunni, some about Maulvi some about Jihadist some about Sherry some about pervert BUT nobody is talking about what these lowlifes BLOOD BRETHEREN of the lowlifes of our country the Bhaiya Mussalmans of UP, Bihar, MP, Deccan and Maharashtra did to ordinary peace loving folk in Karachi.
Salim Chauhan is right the all the Muhajirs want is Piece. A little Piece of Pakistan and little pieces of Punjabis, Sindhis, Pathans and Balochis to be followed by even littler (or more little for the gramatically correct) pieces of Hindus and Kristis.

#940 by Zeena,
Zeena, both hamidm2 as well as tahmed 32 are qadianis. This is exactly their way of operating to pretend to be Muslims while trying to undermine Islam from within. Qura`an has warned many times against such people.
I admire sattar2 Saheb for not doing that but being upfront and arguing his belief with Muslims from the other side of the table.
Muslims need to be very alert towards closet qadianis.
For the acid test of closet qadianis, do read # 925.

I have never ever seen any sensible posts by this man/woman on fornt page,except for the extreme abuse that he/she posts for Islam and Christianity and against religions......
The way he/she insults prophets is just disgusting and is beyond belief..........
But, why the hell he/she is admiring Mirzaiis?
Why he/she is not abusing Mirzaii the way he abuses our Prophet(PBUH) and Jesus Christ and Marry?
This shows his/her height of hypocrisy......
I am not telling this person to abuse Mirzaii,but,I just second to your post #939.....

Hamidm2, you have admitted in this post that either you`re an apostate, or a qadiani. Your terming yourself having been born and grown up as Muslim is an abuse itself towards Muslims.
You`re a hypocrite and a liar. If you`re not a qadiani, lay some abuse in the way of Mirza Ghulam Ahmed and his family just in the manner you lay abuse upon Muhammad and his family. And don`t give me that BS about Mirza qadiani preaching peace and all that crap while Muhammad didn`t. Just abuse him like you abuse all religions including christianity.
That`s a challenge and it will out you pretty quick. Otherwise I`ll believe you.

Looks like you`re badly in need of Dr. David Matlock. After all, all that mileage and wear & tear must have taken its toll. C`mon ... it`s just $14,000 which you can recoupe in a couple of weeks doing double-time with the reconditioned rolling stock.

This article and it`s supporters are nothing,but, fascist and fundamentalist mind sets.
Cursing,abusing,calling names and trying to choke those who disagree with them.......
What`s the definition of fundamentalist/fascist? The one who tries excessive force(whatever way) to stop the voices of those who do not agree with their agendas.
Here in this article and in it`s interactions, what I am noticing is, unfortuantely the writer and it`s supporters are setting up a very typical example of fascism and fundamentalism with their extreme verbal violence against those who don`t hold the same views........
I do not see any open mindedness and wisdom..I just see cyber harrasement and dirty games being played to belittle others for no reason , no reason at all.......

zeemax (#910, 925),
Hamidm’s posts come across more as parody and yours as too personal and obscene.
And if you think honor of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) needs to be defended, do it with patience that he himself preached and symbolized. Writing obscene posts about someone’s daughters is far from it. It reflects poorly on you, and perhaps, on the ummah as well.
And it is absurd of you to post someone else’s provocative, speculative, unsubstantiated comments, and ask me to respond. I’ll pass, but thanks for the offer though.

Praise belongs to Allah, the First, without a first before Him, the Last, without a last behind Him.
Beholders` eyes fall short of seeing Him, describers` imaginations are not able to depict Him.
He originated the creatures through His power with an origination, He devised them in accordance with His will with a devising.
Then He made them walk on the path of His desire, He sent them out on the way of His love.
They cannot keep back from that to which He has sent them forward, nor can they go forward
to that from which He has kept them back.
He assigned from His provision to each of their spirits a nourishment known and apportioned.
No decreaser decreases those whom He increases, no increaser increases those of them whom He decreases.
Then for each spirit He strikes a fixed term in life, for each He sets up a determined end;
he walks toward it through the days of his span, he overtakes it through the years of his time.
Then, when he takes his final step and embraces the reckoning of his span,
Allah seizes him to the abundant reward or the feared punishment to which He has called him,
That He may repay those who do evil for what they have done and repay those who do good with goodness,
as justice from Him (holy are His names, and manifest His boons).
He shall not be questioned as to what He does, but they shall be questioned.
Praise belongs to God, for, had He withheld from His servants the knowledge to praise Him for the uninterrupted kindnesses
with which He has tried them and the manifest favours which He has lavished upon them, they would have moved about in His kindnesses without praising Him, and spread themselves out in His provision without thanking Him.
Had such been the case, they would have left the bounds of humanity for that of beastliness and become as He has described in the firm text of His Book:
They are but as the cattle—nay, but they are further astray from the way!.
Praise belongs to God, for the true knowledge of Himself He has given to us, the thanksgiving He has inspired us to offer Him,
the doors to knowing His Lordship He has opened for us, the sincerity towards Him in professing His Unity to which He has led us, and the deviation and doubt in His Command from which He has turned us aside;
A praise through which we may be given long life among those of His creatures who praise Him, and overtake those who have gone ahead toward His good pleasure and pardon;
A praise through which He will illuminate for us the shadows of the inner world, ease for us the path of the Resurrection,
and raise up our stations at the standing places of the Witnesses on the day when every soul will be repaid for what it has earned - they shall not be wronged;
the day a master shall avail nothing a client, and they shall not be helped;
A praise which will rise up from us to the highest of the `Illiyun in a book inscribed, witnessed by those brought nigh,
a praise whereby our eyes may be at rest when sight is dazzled, our faces whitened when skins are blackened, a praise through which we may be released from God`s painful Fire and enter God`s generous neighbourhood, a praise by which
we may jostle the angels brought nigh and join the prophets, the envoys, in a House of Permanence that does not remove,
the Place of His Generosity that does not change.
Praise belongs to Allah,
who chose for us the good qualities of creation, granted us the agreeable things of provision,
and appointed for us excellence through domination over all creation;
every one of His creatures submits to us through His power and comes to obey us through His might.
Praise belongs to Allah,
who locked for us the gate of need except toward Him.
So how can we praise Him?
When can we thank Him?
Indeed, when?
Praise belongs to Allah,
who placed within us the organs of expansion, assigned for us the agents of contraction, gave us to enjoy the spirits of life,
fixed within us the limbs of works, nourished us with the agreeable things of provision, freed us from need through His bounty,
and gave us possessions through His kindness.
Then He commanded us that He might test our obedience and prohibited us that He might try our thanksgiving.
So we turned against the path of His commandments and mounted the backs of His warnings.
Yet He hurried us not to His punishment, nor hastened us on to His vengeance. No, He went slowly with us through His mercy, in generosity, and awaited our return through His clemency, in mildness.
Praise belongs to Allah,
who showed us the way to repentance, which we would not have won save through His bounty.
Had we nothing to count as His bounty but this, His trial of us would have been good, His beneficence toward us great,
His bounty upon us immense. For such was not His wont in repentance with those who went before us.
He has lifted up from us what we have not the strength to bear, charged us only to our capacity, imposed upon us nothing but ease, and left none of us with an argument or excuse. So the perisher among us is he who perishes in spite of Him
and the felicitous among us he who beseeches Him.
And praise belongs to Allah,
with all the praises of His angels closest to Him, His creatures most noble in His eyes, and His praisers most pleasing to Him;
a praise that may surpass other praises as our Lord surpasses all His creatures.
Then to Him belongs praise, in place of His every favour upon us and upon all His servants, past and still remaining, to the number of all things His knowledge encompasses, and in place of each of His favours, their number doubling and redoubling always and forever, to the Day of Resurrection;
A praise whose bound has no utmost end, whose number has no reckoning, whose limit cannot be reached, whose period cannot be cut off;
A praise which will become a link to His obedience and pardon, a tie to His good pleasure, a means to His forgiveness,
a path to His Garden, a protector against His vengeance, a security against His wrath, an aid to obeying Him, a barrier against disobeying Him, a help in fulfilling His right and His duties;
A praise that will make us felicitous among His felicitous friends, and bring us into the ranks of those martyred by the swords of His enemies. He is a Friend, Praiseworthy!

Question
Can you please give a piece of advice that you have learned over the past few years that if shared with me, it might make a difference in my life?
Answer
Bismillah.
To humbly submit, in our hearts and minds, to Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta`ala) and to love Allah`s Prophet and Messenger, Muhammad (peace be upon him).
One of the great beauties of Islam, for me, is that it places us where we truly belong - it gives us the right perspective on our lives. This is that we are but small creations of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta`ala) Who has gifted us, in His Mercy and Compassion, with all the guidance that we need to live as we should.
This perspective gives us a genuine reverence; true honour. It makes us truly human.
Years ago, before my reversion, I was rather arrogant - and had a very high opinion of myself, of my intellect and abilities. Now, when I do my Salat (prayer) I am aware of two things - how thankful I am for being guided to the Right Path, and how I am but one humble servant of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta`ala).
``Allah (alone) has power over, and is the (sole) master of, all things. The creations in Heaven and Earth, the very change of Night to Day, are Signs for those gifted with intelligence, those who whether sitting, standing or reclining on their sides, give praise to Allah and who frequently recall these creations in Heaven and Earth, (saying): `You who are our Rabb - You created all these things for a purpose; the achievement is Yours alone.` `` (3:189-191 Interpretation of Meaning)

#897 teshah you write Islam, in my view, advocated social democracy and not a political one, especially the Malukiat (despotism) which later came into being using the name of Islam
By ``social democracy``, I assume you mean treating all individuals as (social) equals, and by ``political democracy`` I assume you mean the right to elect and hold accountable political leaders. In that sense I agree to the extent that Islam (by which I mean of course the Quran, and thus avoid mixing it up with ``hadis`` - or ``hadith`` for those Pakistanis seeking to imitate the Arabs right down to their linguistic shortcomings) calls for ``social democracy``. It is silent on the issue of the right to vote, just as it is silent on the issue of dynasties.
Thus, if one seeks guidance from the Quran (as opposed to simply looking towards human experience since that time, like the rest of the world does and which makes perfectly good sense), then clearly the egalitarian spirit reflected in the ``social democracy`` enjoined by the Quran would imply calling for political democracy as well and opposition to khilafats that the islamic extremists call for in the name of Islam!! The supreme irony of course is that the ``islamic state`` and the ``sharia laws`` that they seek to introduce are the anti-thesis of the Quran!!

To: brothers urstruly, zeemax, echoboom and sister zeena
From: Dr Tawfik Hamid
I was born a Muslim and lived all my life as a follower of Islam.
After the barbaric terrorist attacks done by the hands of my fellow Muslims everywhere on this globe, and after the too many violent acts by Islamists in many parts of the world, I feel responsible as a Muslim and as a human being, to speak out and tell the truth to protect the world and Muslims as well from a coming catastrophe and war of civilizations.
I have to admit that our current Islamic teaching creates violence and hatred toward Non-Muslims. We Muslims are the ones who need to change.
Until now we have accepted polygamy, the beating of women by men, and killing those who convert from Islam to other religions.
We have never had a clear and strong stand against the concept of slavery or wars, to spread our religion and to subjugate others to Islam and force them to pay a humiliating tax called Jizia.
We ask others to respect our religion while all the time we curse non-Muslims loudly (in Arabic) in our Friday prayers in the Mosques.
What message do we convey to our children when we call the Jews ``Descendants of the pigs and monkeys``…. Is this a message of love and peace, or a message of hate?
I have been into churches and synagogues where they were praying for Muslims. While all the time we curse them, and teach our generations to call them infidels, and to hate them.
We immediately jump in a ‘knee jerk reflex` to defend Prophet Mohammed when someone accuses him of being a pedophile while, at the same time, we are proud with the story in our Islamic books, that he married a young girl seven years old (Aisha) when he was above 50 years old.
I am sad to say that many, if not most of us, rejoiced in happiness after September 11th and after many other terror attacks.
Muslims denounce these attacks to look good in front of the media, but we condone the Islamic terrorists and sympathise with their cause. Till now our ‘reputable` top religious authorities have never issued a Fatwa or religious statement to proclaim Bin Laden as an apostate, while an author, like Rushdie, was declared an apostate who should be killed according to Islamic Shariia law just for writing a book criticizing Islam.
Muslims demonstrated to get more religious rights as we did in France to stop the ban on the Hejab (Head Scarf), while we did not demonstrate with such passion and in such numbers against the terrorist murders.
It is our absolute silence against the terrorists that gives the energy to these terrorists to continue doing their evil acts.
We Muslims need to stop blaming our problems on others or on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.
As a matter of honesty, Israel is the only light of democracy, civilization, and human rights in the whole Middle East.
We kicked out the Jews with no compensation or mercy from most of the Arab countries to make them ``Jews-Free countries`` while Israel accepted more than a million Arabs to live there, have its nationality, and enjoy their rights as human beings. In Israel, women can not be beaten legally by men, and any person can change his/her belief system with no fear of being killed by the Islamic law of ‘Apostasy,` while in our Islamic world people do not enjoy any of these rights.
I agree that the ‘Palestinians` suffer, but they suffer because of their corrupt leaders and not because of Israel.
It is not common to see Arabs who live in Israel leaving to live in the Arab world. On the other hand, we used to see thousands of Palestinians going to work with happiness in Israel, its `enemy`. If Israel treats Arabs badly as some people claim, surely we would have seen the opposite happening.
We Muslims need to admit our problems and face them. Only then we can treat them and start a new era to live in harmony with human mankind.
Our religious leaders have to show a clear and very strong stand against polygamy, pedophilia, slavery, killing those who convert from Islam to other religions, beating of women by men, and declaring wars on non-Muslims to spread Islam. Then, and only then, do we have the right to ask others to respect our religion.
The time has come to stop our hypocrisy and say it openly: ‘We Muslims have to Change`.

How to End `Islamophobia`
By TAWFIK HAMID
May 25, 2007; Page A15
WSJ Online
Islamic organizations regularly accuse non-Muslims of ``Islamophobia,`` a fear and disdain for everything Islamic. On May 17, this accusation bubbled up again as foreign ministers from the Organization of the Islamic Conference called Islamophobia ``the worst form of terrorism.`` These ministers also warned, according to the Arab News, that this form of discrimination would cause millions of Muslims in Western countries, ``many of whom were already underprivileged,`` to be ``further alienated.``
In America, perhaps the most conspicuous organization to persistently accuse opponents of Islamophobia is the Council of American Islamic Relations. CAIR has taken up the legal case of the ``Flying Imams,`` the six individuals who were pulled from a US Airways flight in Minneapolis this past November after engaging in suspicious behavior before takeoff. Not long ago, CAIR filed a ``John Doe`` lawsuit that would have made passengers liable for ``malicious`` complaints about suspicious Muslim passengers.
In an interview at the time, CAIR spokesman Nihad Awad accused Rep. Peter King (R., N.Y.) of being an ``extremist`` who ``encourages Islamophobia`` for pointing out what most people would think is obvious, that such a lawsuit would have a chilling effect on passengers who witnessed alarming activity and wished to report it. We can only assume that Mr. Awad believes flyers should passively remain in a state of fear as they travel and submissively risk their lives. In this case, Congress is acting appropriately and considering passing a law sponsored by Mr. King that would grant passengers immunity from such lawsuits.
It may seem bizarre, but Islamic reformers are not immune to the charge of ``Islamophobia`` either. For 20 years, I have preached a reformed interpretation of Islam that teaches peace and respects human rights. I have consistently spoken out -- with dozens of other Muslim and Arab reformers -- against the mistreatment of women, gays and religious minorities in the Islamic world. We have pointed out the violent teachings of Salafism and the imperative of Westerners to protect themselves against it.
Yet according to CAIR`s Michigan spokeswoman, Zeinab Chami, I am ``the latest weapon in the Islamophobe arsenal.`` If standing against the violent edicts of Shariah law is ``Islamophobic,`` then I will treat her accusation as a badge of honor.
Muslims must ask what prompts this ``phobia`` in the first place. When we in the West examine the worldwide atrocities perpetrated daily in the name of Islam, it is vital to question if we -- Muslims -- should lay the blame on others for Islamophobia or if we should first look hard at ourselves.
According to a recent Pew Global Attitudes survey, ``younger Muslims in the U.S. are much more likely than older Muslim Americans to say that suicide bombing in the defense of Islam can be at least sometimes justified.`` About one out of every four American Muslims under 30 think suicide bombing in defense of Islam is justified in at least some circumstances. Twenty-eight percent believe that Muslims did not carry out the 9/11 attacks and 32% declined to answer that question.
While the survey has been represented in the media as proof of moderation among American Muslims, the actual results should yield the opposite conclusion. If, as the Pew study estimates, there are 2.35 million Muslims in America, that means there are a substantial number of people in the U.S. who think suicide bombing is sometimes justified. Similarly, if 5% of American Muslims support al Qaeda, that`s more than 100,000 people.
To bring an end to Islamophobia, we must employ a holistic approach that treats the core of the disease. It will not suffice to merely suppress the symptoms. It is imperative to adopt new Islamic teachings that do not allow killing apostates (Redda Law). Islamic authorities must provide mainstream Islamic books that forbid polygamy and beating women. Accepted Islamic doctrine should take a strong stand against slavery and the raping of female war prisoners, as happens in Darfur under the explicit canons of Shariah (``Ma Malakat Aimanikum``). Muslims should teach, everywhere and universally, that a woman`s testimony in court counts as much as a man`s, that women should not be punished if they marry whom they please or dress as they wish.
We Muslims should publicly show our strong disapproval for the growing number of attacks by Muslims against other faiths and against other Muslims. Let us not even dwell on 9/11, Madrid, London, Bali and countless other scenes of carnage. It has been estimated that of the two million refugees fleeing Islamic terror in Iraq, 40% are Christian, and many of them seek a haven in Lebanon, where the Christian population itself has declined by 60%. Even in Turkey, Islamists recently found it necessary to slit the throats of three Christians for publishing Bibles.
Of course, Islamist attacks are not limited to Christians and Jews. Why do we hear no Muslim condemnation of the ongoing slaughter of Buddhists in Thailand by Islamic groups? Why was there silence over the Mumbai train bombings which took the lives of over 200 Hindus in 2006? We must not forget that innocent Muslims, too, are suffering. Indeed, the most common murderers of Muslims are, and have always been, other Muslims. Where is the Muslim outcry over the Sunni-Shiite violence in Iraq?
Islamophobia could end when masses of Muslims demonstrate in the streets against videos displaying innocent people being beheaded with the same vigor we employ against airlines, Israel and cartoons of Muhammad. It might cease when Muslims unambiguously and publicly insist that Shariah law should have no binding legal status in free, democratic societies.
It is well past time that Muslims cease using the charge of ``Islamophobia`` as a tool to intimidate and blackmail those who speak up against suspicious passengers and against those who rightly criticize current Islamic practices and preachings. Instead, Muslims must engage in honest and humble introspection. Muslims should -- must -- develop strategies to rescue our religion by combating the tyranny of Salafi Islam and its dreadful consequences. Among more important outcomes, this will also put an end to so-called Islamophobia.

How to End `Islamophobia`
