These appear to be strong arguments by Echoboom on outing closet qadianis:

1) There are two groups of Quadianis: one who consider [Mirza] a ``prophet`` & the other

2) A true giveaway of a Quadiani is his undying & ``unflinching`` loyalty & devotion to the goraa maashter. When I read rushdie`s ``satanic verses I felt tht it was just a third rated book with nothing in it.Absolutely humorless......

Then I realized why that book got repute? just b/c it was all about insulting our Prophet(PBUH)............written by some kindergartner`s mind...........or by some <40 IQ brain...

Even,a kindergartner would have written a better fiction..............

To many of us, Rushdie`s genius as a writer was established well before Satanic Verses (which most would agree wasn`t even his best work). Of course, most Muslims didn`t take much offence to the allegory in Midnight`s Children since the protaganist there also seem to question India`s nationhood.

Mian, you can accuse Rushdie of being less than sensitive to Muslims sensibilities (once those ``sensibilities`` are charged up by ignorant folks who can`t be expected to know about fictive devices). But his genius as a fiction writer is pretty indisputable. Of course, what you`d expect of him is to sacrifice his muse, and his brain, at the altar of Respect for Irrational Sensibilities of a certain section of population who don`t think twice about openly insulting others and their religious icons.
