You would agree that your discussion/interpretation of the ghaib is a bit unusual. So people are naturally having difficulty grasping your argument.

Is it now fairly common among Muslims to claim (individual) knowledge of (parts of) the ghaib?

From what I understand, there haven`t been too many learned scholars (excluding ``Sufis,`` since there is no Revelation like the True Revelation a sufi gets after sufficient rounds of charas or hours of good-natured twirling) in the history of Islam who (claimed to have) figured out some/any part of the ghaib using human knowledge and scientific processes.

Hope you won`t get offended, and would clarify whether you have discovered something entirely new (to your credit, some chowkies firmly believe you already have or have the potential to do so), or have most Muslims always known about this ability to understand the ghaib individually and/or collectively?

While lahore consumes far greater than it generates , karachi is expected to keep generating and is underprovided for.

Anyway i`ll give you my take. Karachi has always been a city of migrants and its bursting at the seems. Its infrastructure is insufficient and loads of problems stem from that. However it is the most progressive city in pakistan no matter how you look at it , economically socially and educationwise. The disparity means we will continue to be overpopulated until the rest of pakistan steps up a little. So actually i am on your side zee although i think you should concentrate less on 5 star retaurants (which karachi has had for centuries) and get stuff done thats actually needed. Education, economy and womens liberation.

I agree on your statement.Only these firebrand people had guts to do any thing , govt is helpless due to china connection. No one is claiming to know the sum total of ghaib, which only an omniscient can but part of the unapparent ``ghaib`` can be uncovered through knowledge and the scientific process, the whole Endeavour of science is to uncover ``hidden`` relationships that explain events.

Regarding 7:181, it does not refer to people like you, or the group of thugs you support, those that are helping the Shaitan achieve its higher immorality around the globe, you don`t have respect for the truth and facts and so you cannot employ justice based on truth, simple to understand. Terrorism, extremism, dogmatism, sloganeering and being ready to chop off heads has nothing to do with the Quran, nothing to do with justice based on truth.
