There was a point in the 1990`s when killings in karachi were WORSE THAN any other city in the world including lebanon, that was a statistic quoted by asian newsweek....so when people jump out of nowhere and suggest that karachi is becoming more violent/ gaza-esq people from karachi have to wonder whether you guys were born yesterday or just totally out of touch with reality.

The MQM and violence conversation is legit and i feel neccessary. However it is totally counterproductive when people with little insight and compassion for karachi try to take on the debate it only cements support for the MQM.

I can only see Imran Khan`s picture fit in to this poetry......

Of course, I would assume that the recently enacted anti-terror laws of UK, under which Imran Khan is filing his law suit alleging Alt-F to have directed his goons to kill over 40 people would not have a requirement that the plaintiff should be pious.

Only the spin doctors of the bhutta gheer community of Karachi are valiantly trying to deflect this whole issue of who was responsible for the May 12 mayhem.

Institutions can only be made if the educated class from Pakistan come together and bring justice to the victims of this recent event inspite of the deflectionary tactics of these gangsters of Karachi.

The question should be asked whether we want Karachi to degrade into being another Gaza or to advance like Singapore. In my opinion, Alt-F has already lost the futuristic looking mohajir community of Karachi, who are seeing all those billions of dollars from the middle east making way towards other parts of the country.

Unfortunately, for Karachi, their continued support of this goon with his politics of hate will continue to bring nothing else but destruction.

No matter what May 12 must not be forgotten.

It is a measure of the depravity of musharraf and his mqm ghoondas that even Imran Khan looks good compared to them.

Excellent points Masadi. Politicians only exploit what is inside to begin with. Many people have little interest in justice or peace for pakistani`s just for their own ethnicity religious subgroup and gender. That makes us an injust society and keeps us weak and poor and mired in infighting.We have to start with societal justice and equality for all.

Zeemax has ideologically distanced himself from the Quran for the purposes of using the word munafiq for his own agenda. The same way Imran distances himself from the Quran when it comes to screwing lying and denying like a little munafiquette. In an extension of the above theory the rape jirga in the mukhtar mai distanced itself from the Quran to perpetuate hateful animal inhuman acts. Not surprisingly Imran khan as it turns out supports jirga justice. These are all different faces of lust, misogyny, hate and sadism. There really is nothing new under the sun.

It has nothing to do with ethnicity, he is merely trying to gain political clout and being used by the powers that be who would just as readily use the other side for their purpose. Let us not forget that given the numbers, people of all ethnicities suffer the effects of terrible poverty in Pakistan that kills many more month in and month out than any quasi-terrorist group can muster in their entire history in Pakistan. Why the silence on those deaths and the ones that are responsible for them,i.e. the US elite and their occupation force in Pakistan, the Pak Army.

The Quran certainly does not define munafiqat in terms of opposition to the Pakistan idea, and it certainly does not describe it in terms of the ethnicity of a certain group and it certainly does not ask you to generalize from one person to an entire ethnic group most of whom probably have no clue about that speech and whose ancestors were victims of the partition so such sentiments are quite understandable. The India/Pakistan division and subsequent conflict benefits the imperialist elite, anyone fanning it on the India or the Pakistan side or using it for their own political gains like IK, are merely playing into the hands of those that want to keep Pakistan underdeveloped....know these facts and then you can properly deal with all the A-Holes including AH.

Imran Khan Niazi, is part Punjabi, part Pukhtoon thus he will defend the aggreived parties right to retaliate and kill Paki soldiers and citizens as their god given right to defend themselves and their heritage. At the end of the day, Imran Khan Niazi has shown his true Punjabi/Pukhtoon colours. Its OK to kill dark skinned mohajirs, sindhis and balochis but its absolutely blasphemous to even think of touching his backyard.
