Here is the basic sickness that affects tahmed`s mind. The US elite broke every rule in the book, violated the geneva convention in how they have handled prisoners of war, displayed dead and mutilated bodies and humiliated those they have overpowered, yet this miserable sob invents ways to sanitize their barbarism while pointing fingers at others. What the US does on a large scale these petty terrorists he picks to advertise do on a much smaller scale, their doings are advertised for shock ``theatrical`` value while all their higher barbarism is meticulously hidden through distration and information overload, sometimes released for strategic purposes or for damage control when leaks occur.
Don`t think you can reason with tahmed, he worships the US elite unconditionally, Reasoning with Ghazi is relatively easier than reasoning with a-holes like him....

#486,
Lemon aka neembu aka Saminasha,
Will you please stop your nonsense. If you have nothing to contribute to this very important topic, please refrain from exchanging insults with others. Please restrict your obsession to the underworld of Unplugged where you and your cohort perch daily to abuse everyone and altercate unceasingly. Many of us are simply bored with your antics.

No. They ALL want to Islamize and not Talibanize. The only difference is that the political parties want to Islamize through public opinion and constitutional struggle, while Lal Masjid wants to Islamize by force `right now`.
However, the FATA people DO want to Talibanize, and they are already in control of maybe 75% of NWFP. Do you want to give them a chance to do that all over the country by ridiculing the relatively `moderate` version of the politicos? That will prevent a national consensus and the writing is already on the wall.

Re: # 494
Yup, that is exactly the same strategy that was used in Iran. After Ayatollah Khomeini came to power, everybody else was marginalized. Hopefully Pakistanis are much smarter than the Iranians, and can see through what mullahism is all about.

Why do Paindoos like you always mistake sharafat and compassion as signs of weakness?

while indian muslim girls study for IIT-JEE, paki school girls study for IIT-JEE(Islamic inst. of terrorism - Jannat Entrance exam)
Brainwashed children plead to die as martyrs in Red Mosque siege
SAIMA KHAN wants to die a martyr. Life is transient, she told her father in a telephone call last week, and the real glory is to sacrifice it for Allah. Her statement would be alarming at any age, but Saima is only 10.
As she spoke, rifle shots rang out, the acrid smell of tear gas drifted over Islamabad and hundreds of troops surrounded the pro-Taliban Red Mosque, a religious school complex in the heart of Pakistan’s capital where Saima was among hundreds of children being held as virtual hostages in a stand-off between militants and the government.
Saima and her 14-year-old sister, Asma, were embroiled in a struggle for the soul of Pakistan in which up to 70 militants died last week and more than 100 were injured, according to mosque officials.
Holed up inside the complex behind the lines of troops and razor wire, the children – many of them girls whose families had sent them to the mosque to receive a strict Islamic education – repeatedly rejected relatives’ entreaties to leave before a threatened army onslaught.
There was evidence that many had been brainwashed into a cult of martyrdom, and the authorities feared last night that some were being prepared to be suicide bombers. In barely eight weeks, Saima had been transformed from a religious but fun-loving girl to a jihadi, grimly craving martyrdom.

Sound advise, but this will only delay the obvious. ``}
Bismillah bhai,
No need to rush things. There is no international law specifying the maximum time to resolve hostage/siege situations. Time is on Mushy`s side. Just let the Lal Masjid inmates carry on inside and take their time. Eventually, they will come to their senses. Mushy can then claim to have used sober thinking, patience, and wisdom in resolving a serious problem. He doesn`t have to give in to the jihadists, but he also DOESN`T HAVE to take forceful and violent action. I would even send in food, water, and medical supplies and definitely NOT cut water and electricity. Most Pakis are humane and compassionate people and will appreciate this shareefana Mohajir approach to solving problems. :) No need to wana wana here.

Salim Mian,
I can only pray for your ideas to be successful, but we must not humanize these terrorists, they will not accord u the same latitude, nor do they deserve to be treated with anything but contempt.

The day Mush leaves office and we have a civilian Govt backed by Military, that will be the end of this Mulla extremism...
Hmmm ... was it the 15th amendment which a democratically elected government (and the backing of the military) had passed in NA with a 2/3rd majority in 1998 but was held up only in the Senate, which would practically have turned Pakistan into a caliphate?
My my ... you really ARE dumber than dumber ...
