The British put forth the argument in the early 1900`s that the Indians are not capable of ruling themselves, we have proved that thesis, just look at our History.

It is a classic case of One overarching Instititution that does not let any thing grow under it. the example of a Big magnificient banyan Tree that is good to look at but nothing grow under it.

Authoratarian rule like of Mr Zia encoureged hypocisry and sycophancy since that is the way to patronage and share of the cake or should I say crumbs that fall on the side.
