Re: # 68 No, this poster is not right. He has never ever been right. All he sees is evil coming out from everywhere, and then blames it on the ``US power elite.`` Whatever the heck that is? Just hang around and you will realize how disgusting this notion gets. This interactor does not want to take responsibility whatsoever regarding anything. He is as defunct as those who were holed up in that mosque. Just blame it on the rest of the world, blame it on the system, and when all else fails, bring out the big guns, and hide behind Islam. These people are a shame to the religion and the community of people that has always promoted hard work and progress.

Fawzia:
Some brain-washing machine.
How do you feel, after one cycle?
After one reading cycle, I can only recall Johny Walker`s song;
``Yeh sar jo tera chakraye, ya dil dooba jaye,
aaja pyare pass humare kahe ghabraye...``

#78 by Nasruminallah,
See? That`s what I meant by saying I never get a straight answer :-(
I know everyone sucks.
Bhai, I asked that in that case ``Who would you like to rule you?``
Unless you opt for anarchy. That`s fine too. I see nothing wrong with that either ....

#80 by tahmed32,
It is us Pakistanis who are stuck with a military that thinks we cant rule ourselves.
Really? Since you were cheering for democracy in Pakistan yesterday ... let`s suppose they get rid of the military rule, who would you then vote for? Or have you still not decided because it`s too early for elections :)

Anyhow, latest is that Government has offered a house-arrest for Abdul Rashid and his mom in a bungalow/rest house instead of imprisonment, and he has rejected the offer after consultation with the people inside.
Their final terms are clear. Administration can come in, take their arms, arrest the people if any from banned organizations and arrest them, and let everyone else go. Beyond that, none will be arrested. If this is not accepted, they will all die fighting instead.

The Eternal Khaki Song
(Enter the Players)
(Music: Kukuk ku kukukukukuk)
Police:
Burqa ke peechhe kya hai, burqa ke peechhe
Jholee ke neeche kya hai, jholee ke neeche
Mullah:
Ho, jholee mein dil hai meraa, jholee mein dil hai mera
jholee mein dil hai meraa, burqa mein dil hai mera
ye dil mein doongaa khaki – yaar ko, pyaar ko!
Spectators:
Aah!
(Kukuk ku kukukukukuk)
Police: (pointing to chowk mullahs)
Arrey, laakhon deevaane tere, laakhon deevaane
aashiq puraane tere, aashiq puraane
Mullah: (pointing to Urstruly)
Ho, aashiq mila na aisaa, hmmm
meri pasandon jaisa hmmm
De dil shahar ye aisaa, kya karoon… kya karoon
(Hai! Kukuk ku kukukukukuk)
Police:
Resham ka jholaa teraa, resham ka jholaa
Lahanga hai mahanga teraa, lahanga hai mahanga
Mullah:
Lahanga utha ke chaloon, ghunghat gira ke chaloon
Kya kya bacha ke chaloon raamajee, raamji
(Hai! Kukuk ku kukukukukuk)
Chowk Mullahs: (To Mushy)
Arrey, isako bacha lo baaboo, is ko bacha lo
Dil mein chhupaalo baaboo, dil mein chhupaalo
Mullah:
Ho, khaki pade hain peechhe, {o ho!}
Koi idhar ko kheenche, hmmm
Koi udhar ko kheenche, kya karoon kya karoon …
(Hai! Kukuk ku kukukukukuk)
Police:
Arrey! ladaki ho kaisi bolo, ladaki ho kaisi
(looks inside the burqa)
Ladaka ho kaisa bolo , ladaka ho kaisa
Mullah:
Ho ladaki ho mere jaisi {ah ha!}
Police:
Ladaka ho tere jaisa {vaah vaah!}
Aaye maza phir kaisaa, pyaar kaa, pyaar ka {vaah!!}
(Kukuk ku kukukukukuk)
Mushy: (Placating the Mullah)
Ho ... jhumari ka jumaru ban jaa, jhumari ka jumaru {kich kich}
paayal kaa, ghungharu ban ja paayal ka ghungaru {kich kich}
meri salaami kar le

Hoga tu hoga koi badashaah, badashaah {arrey jaan!}
(Kukuk ku kukukukukuk)
Mullah:
Baaali umariya meri baali umariya
Suni sajariya meri suni sajariya
Mushy: (Further placating the Mullah)
Mere sapanon ke raaja
Jaldi se vaapas aaja {ah!}
Soti hun main daravaaja khol ke, khol ke {ah!}
(Kukuk ku kukukukukuk)
Begham bagair baadashaah kis kaam ka

Mullah:
Teri marzi tu jaane, meri marzi main jaanoon
Maine javaani tere naam kee, naam ki {ho choree}
(Exit the Players)

bjkumar #86 : Will you be making a YouTube version of this?
#88 Posted by zeemax on July 6, 2007 1:05:56 pm
There was one thing interesting he said .... that there have been many times APC`s were in their sights but they haven`t killed any army-man since that first and only one which was against orders. He claims to have buried 70-80 bodies of his students in the compound as per the deceased`s prior wishes, while three more today are awaiting burial.

zeemax #84 Like I said, the most important thing is ending military rule, and instead have the military protect the Constitution. It doesnt matter who wins elections after that - you first have to have a wall before you start worrying about what color to paint it today.

#89 by tahmed32,
Thank you :)
Now please tell me how do you end military rule without deciding whom to put in its place?

[whom to put in its place]
I think they should start with you!
#92 Posted by bjkumar on July 6, 2007 1:17:05 pm
#91 (add-on)
Of course, wearing a burqa is a prerequisite for becoming the (male) ruler of Pakistan!
#93 Posted by bjkumar on July 6, 2007 1:18:25 pm
The mullahs are the more recent claimants. The khakis seem to have had a monoploy on that accomplishment so far!

Regarding Abdul Aziz`s interview on PTV.
I saw the thing yesterday. Despite having no sympathy for Lal Masjid folks` message or tactics, I think what PTV did was in very bad taste. Whoever thought of that should grow up.

Dear Dr. Afzul-Khan,
I would advise you against publishing here again. Apparently the great intellectual interactors known as atif, echoboom, ali and stuka have seen it fit to comment on your appearance, grammar, etc. Two of these cowards have compared your appearance to a porn star. (And we know this exhaustive knowledge of porn is a characteristic well developed in desi men who will eventually have some poor girl forced to marry them).
As usual, the management and staff at this website has not seen fit to curb the culture of sexual harrassment prevalent here which is why there are several women interactors who refuse to send their work to this website. My suggestion is that you boycott this website as well-or at least deny them your work.

Re: # 11
I do not believe any effort to see things for oneself are wasted efforts. I also feel all of us are human beings, no matter how screwed up our ideologies. We need to listen to one another...as a secular liberal (yes, I know those may be dirty words for some of you)--I did what i have been trained to do: listen to the other side without condemnation and hatred.
