Sangeeta, this is an academician's work.

You are familiar with many of the issues involved. But as is not unusual with academicians, you build up a huge storm to say practically nothing.

Ofcourse, human life is precious. So what?

And no cause is greater than human life? That is one person's (here, yours) assumption. Others may reject it as easily as you accept it. And should that happen, what good will your effort do?

Well-written, certainly, but there is a paradox here- the concept of self-defense. Is that not an indispensible cause? Whether for an individual or a state? When faced with a possibly fatal threat, if the taking of human life is the only resolution...how woud hesitate?
