Pessimistic.
There are people, in the weddings, who smile to add quality to be remembered.
And which bride cried? Its okay to cry, natural phenomenon.

You better watch Candid Camera.

some times I do think of my self as a photographer, still I somewhat agree with you.

But please do not blame the whole invention for its misuse. I mean the invention of wheel can not be blamed for the road side accidents the occur every second in Pakistan or any where else in the world for that matter.

Being married I have been through the experience the voice still echo in my mind "Thora saath ho jain", "Dantoon walee smile dain (give smile showing your theeth)". I hated that so much.

When I usally go with my camera to the wedding I take my telephoto lens and sit far away from other people and take candits as I like. Which gives totally different prespective to the whole situation.

Now I have stoped to take pictures at weddings. I think thats an insult to the art atleast for me.
