Re: # 5
Hi: Mia CheGuevara-
I think you are a very good candidate for suicide bombing. as you say,"....suicide bombing is a perfectly legitimate tactic when the enemy is much better equipped...."

let us know if you prefer to be chicken if not.

Wa Salaam.
Kamath

As much as I despise the islamofascists, suicide bombing is a perfectly legitimate tactic when the enemy is much better equipped. As long as the insurgency in the NWFP continues to target the army I have no problems (while still wanting to see these people dead).

Author,

You missed citing one occasion when suicide bombings were used officially by the Pakistan army. It was in the Chawinda tank battle (near Sialkot)in 1965 when Pakistani soldiers strapped on bombs and laid under the tracks of advancing Indian tanks to stop the onslaught. The strategy worked.

It is quite surprising that while moralizing on suicide bombings, and the 'Ulema' and the 'pseudo ulema' terming it 'Unislamic', no one mentions the above incident.

Suicide bombing is just a weapon, like any other. What must be criticized and moralized-upon is targeting of non-combatants.

Besides, news has broken that white phosphorous was used in Jamia Hafsa. It will be interesting to note that many people will condone the use of chemical weapons by the establishment but at the same time make a great hue and cry over the use of suicide bombings in the blowback.

I have no doubt that if and when the bombers get hold of chemical weapons, they will prefer to use those instead of blowing themselves up.

The mullah of lal masjid said that he has a thousand suicide bombers ready and he said that they will strike ant where. he delivered on his promise.

First can any one find a link between the teachings of the mullah and suicide attacks.

The mullah has spent a life time learning islam and can any one find a link between islam and his teachings.

Is there an end in sight for suicide bombings???

The answer my friend is hiding in the lines above.

Is there is an end in sight? Yes there is -- as soon we start chopping off the Mad from the Madrassas leaving the rassas to put some spice in Muslim lives.

a degrading despicable suicide attack is the human's worst form of irrational cowardice -- because it destroys life randomly -- whereas rational cowardice preserves life non randomly.
