With these beasts we are wasting time in negotiating. Musharraf must be removed and enough nuclear weapons must be built to wipe this cruel and primitive cult of Hinduism of this planet.
Yaar Borivili, why don't you become a Jihadi and infiltrate into India across the LoC? I'm sure the Indian Army will welcome you with open arms (I mean arms of the other kind, not limbs). Come on and wipe out the cruel and primitive cult of Hinduism!

15% of about 40 million (after partition) is about 6 millions. Even considering 1971's creation of Bangladesh, the figure will still be in millions.
Now how much is Gujarat + bombay + etc. level? Does it come anywhere near this?

[...people in both India and Pakistan are similar when it comes to taking advantage of the poor, religion notwithstanding.]
So true. 50-50. It's all the same. India, Pakistan, Afghanistan. Buddha, Mohammed, Dalai Lama, Pol Pot. It's all the same.
Very true.

The burden is on you. Show me the money...or the numbers in this case.
You see you have to give me some thing tangible to refute. You continue to talk in abstract. Show me where and how millions Hindus were liquidated.
Those reports don't add up to Millions of Hindus liquidated...and they don't add up to Gujarat alone...

"you guys have been doing this for the last 60 years."
Do you have any report from yesterday! Even a traffic accident with some people killed is reported internationally .

I thought hindus only butchered and raped muslim women and children as in bombay and gujrat but they do so to their own as well, Hinduism not only is antihuman as their historical treatment of lower castes shows but is also highly prejudiced towards woman and then these bayghairat hindus point fingers at muslims, chhee.

Indian mum kills daughter for wanting school

New Delhi: A 12-year-old Indian girl was beaten and then hanged by her mother for demanding she be sent to school, the Hindustan Times newspaper reported on Tuesday.
The girl was beaten unconscious with a rolling pin by her mother in a village in Jodhpur district in the western desert state of Rajasthan this month.
"The mother thought she had killed the girl and, in panic, decided to make it appear like a suicide," a police officer was quoted as saying.
"She allegedly tied a rope around the girl's neck and hung her from the ceiling."
The woman has been arrested.
The girl's father, a labourer, said he and his wife could not afford a bicycle to send their daughter to school a few miles away.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------
-------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------
Parents across large parts of rural India often prefer boys over girls because sons are seen as future breadwinners and are expected to look after them in their old age.
Girls, on the other hand, are seen as a liability for whom parents will have to pay a huge dowry to get married.
The report from Rajasthan came a day after police in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh said a man who yearned for a son killed his 11-year-old daughter, cut her into pieces and threw parts of her body into a fire.
Millions of female foetuses have been illegally aborted in India over the past two decades, and the country's sex ratio of 933 females to 1,000 males is one of the world's most skewed.

"As for their conditions in Pakistan, here we have Mariana Baabar and Amir Mir, both Pakis, reporting on the sad plight of Hindus in Sindh, where girls are kidnapped in broad daylight"
Both Ms. Baabar and I think, Ejaz Mir are right. These issues exist but I am not really sure the motivation is solely religious. Sindhi Zamindars can be very cruel and religious identity would not matter to them.
But in some instances, the people took advantage of the minority.
I have no intention to condone it but that is a major minority gripe everywhere. If you read the article from Rediff in my previous post, you would understand that people in both India and Pakistan are similar when it comes to taking advantage of the poor, religion notwithstanding.

[Hindu Nationalism especially the kind that is promoted by the rightwing Hindu (not Indian) nationalists’ parties, needs enemies to promote its ideology. We have a similar problem in Pakistan. ]
Reeeeeallyyy? Naaaaah!!! You're just being too nice. Our Hindu suicide bombers are MUCH WORSE than your Muslim suicide bombers.
Why, ONLY the other day a RSS/VHP/Shiv Sena suicide bomber blew up a busload of Muslim men, women and children. JUST LIKE in Kashmir. Only different religion.
It's ALL the same. We Hindus are a LEEEEEETLE worse. That must be because of Hinduism. Otherwise, it's almost 50-50.

Re: # 501 HP
Refer my previous posts where I quoted various Pakistani sources, including one by Khalid Ahmad, confirming that killing of Pakistani Hindus is a very common thing, something that you flatly deny because some langotiya yaar of yours happens to merrily guzzling Indian miskey in Sindh. As to the numbers, you calculate on the basis of percentage. Otherwise you produce your figures, while (a) it's a fact that murders are taking place and are fairly common (supported by Pakistani sources) and (b) you claimed that Pakistani numbers (of Hindus' liquidation) don't come up to "Gujarat" level. Let's have a look at your numbers and their authenticity.

"Minorities everywhere have to live with the predicament of having to be (or at least act) sensitive to the majority community and its views, regardless of their own views and the system"
If you understand this, then I don't think there is any need to elaborate on this any further. Minorities, wherever they are or whatever shade they come in, take it from the Majority. Jews in Europe or the Blacks in the US are the prime examples.
Look, I understand the peculiar issue of partition. But I think Indians have taken it too far. They have internalized the issue.
I hope they look at the history. Political divisions are pretty much everywhere and some of them have resulted in geographical changes too. As I had mentioned in one of my post it is basically an issue of “Necessity of Nemesis”. Hindu Nationalism especially the kind that is promoted by the rightwing Hindu (not Indian) nationalists’ parties, needs enemies to promote its ideology. We have a similar problem in Pakistan. However, the difference is that the Pakistani religious right has no intellectual grounding to win political support based on this issue. Whereas, in India it is possible because of the number of Muslims that live in India and the partition which is a albatross around the Muslim Minority neck.
“Also, are you sure active participation in politics automatically equates to freedom?”
Not always! But one has to start somewhere!
