No DM sahib, this was in response to your post #441, where you mentioned,
"I am not a defender of Islam or Muslim rule in India. I am quite aware of the atrocities, including those of Aurangzeb, who killed our ninth guru and I have also visited Gyanvapi masjid in Benaras which was built on a temple demolished by Aurangzeb. But I am not aware of any large-scale temple destruction done by him."
If you happen to go there youwill notice Aurangzebs handywork in the distruction of the complex.

"DM Sahim google Ajanta Elora caves."
Was this in response to my post#440? If so, I don't see the relevance. As far as I know, these were built before the advent of Muslim rule, at least in that part of India.
PS: I have visited those caves and they are a must-see for anyone who needs convincing that we are the inheritors of a great and proud civilization.

If Pakistan refuses them entry then that's not our problem. If you know any poor Indian Muslims who don't wish to remain in India please let me know. I'll sponsor their exit to the country of their choice.

Tolkinin, distributing sweets has a different connotation.
TAhmed bhai, these are IB's observations and not mine. :)
IB valid argument. So what's the solution. should we create another division of the country and give a homeland to these poor disadvantaged Indian Muslims? After all they didn't to catch the gravy train 60 years ago and they obviously don't feel safe amongst Kafirs!!

"when India looses at hands of Pakistan. Not many non-muslims will be or can be accuised of this trait. This precedent can lead to more ..."
Let me ask you then if Pakistani cheers for Indian cricket team for whatever reason ...good bowling, catch, scoring century would that make him closet indian or Disloyal?

Kaal, I liked IB's candid confession that Indian Muslims are closet Pakistan admirers.
Let me try to explain the reasons why Indian Muslims - amdires Pakistan and what makes them angry.
a) because they are Muslims
b) family ties , inter marriages
c) they feel alienated at times in India - so they make there own neighbourhoods - suits them.
d) most Indian who stayed in India at the time of partitions were too poor to afford to migrate - otherwise they would have migrated
e) religous riots in 1946,1947 stopped the rest of Muslims from going to Pakistan - and Pakistani Govt. stopped migration of refuges from India in 1952 -
f) incidents like rioting in 1947, killing od Kashmiris, Babri Mosque, Gujrat riots - makes them p*** off and proves that making of Pakistan was right.
g) emergence of Hindu Rights and RSS reminds them that they are not safe
h) they are still ignored not just in Govt. jobs but at private firms
more will come....

Cobra: Can Bangladeshis be friendly with Pakistanis?
and follow-up questions:
And about this dangerous trait of Indian Muslims celebrating when India loses: Do they drink baby's blood as part of these celebrations? Do they dance under the full moon as part of these jubilations?
PS: Dont get mad. Just trying to give you a hard time. After some of your indian bretheren on chowk, it is a relief to see a normal Indian on chowk. :-)

Ah now I get it. You are saying if non-muslims can be friendly with pakistanis why can't the Indian Muslims right. I didn't get you the first time.
I never objected to muslims being friendly with anybody they whiched. I objected to the remark or rather his observation that Indian Muslims celebrate when India looses at hands of Pakistan. Not many non-muslims will be or can be accuised of this trait. This precedent can lead to more dengerous questions of loyanty.

Judging by the majority Indian interactors here and UP indians are nonuslims and either pakistan phillic ,paki centric or out right propakistan....why is it alright for nonuslimm indian to be cordial to pakistan & pakistani and why double standard for I.m,

"You may stand by your opinion but the ground under your feet is very shaky, moreover your stand is based on hearsay, whereas yours truly is a personal acquaintance (comrade-in-arms) of Gen. Zaheer and by trying to belittle him you only betray your ignorance and if I may add stupidity."
Are you still active in the Indian army and do they allow you to post on contentious issues on websites?

I just responded to tahmed saheb's post who thinks that I am a defender of arjun and now you accuse me of demonising him. I do not think I am doing either but simply expressing my opinion.
