Hey,

There is a beautiful article on the 'logic of revenge' that was written by Murad Bhai- an Indian muslim.
The logic of revenge asks question like -

What about ---?

IT is like a criminal pointing fingers at other criminals as if that would justify his crimes, redeem his prestige and ABSOLVE him of all his crimes.

It is a spurious argument.

Indians do not buy this logic!

Did any one ask :-
Who started the riots??
or
Who built the baburi masjid?

Who killed my fore fathers in building that baburi masjid?

This is the logic of revenge that Murad Bhai talked about.

Re: # 3 Ms Nasreen is provocator and is of bad repute and inflames people who are believers. She writes obscene and and of less value. So people have right to protest her visit ( hope its still democracy, the way things are going in India nobody will be surprised you have hindu hitler or stalin or Mao type militry dictector.
She wants to disturb the married life of couples. The short story of her one novel. A married couple from B.Desh. Man marries woman nothing special and get pregnant ( acceptable), but her behavioue put man in suspense ( she is too friendly within cousin) if baby is his or her cousins. Man is sensible and to make sure he does not want to water neighbour's tree decides and forces abortation. The lady is angry as it was mans baby and feels bad ( again see she paints man as vicious , why he should water neighbours tree ?. Then man says to cut of that cousin with whom she is little friendly. The lady decides to take revenge and finds some lafanga relative other than cousin ( secretly) and get pregnant ( offense, punishable very harshly). Now man is happy he is going to get "HIs" baby. He is very affectionate and brings her good food to eat and pampers so she can get fat and get heft baby. And lady laughs and takes revenge so man is deceived by woman and poor man will carry burden of other child.
The story is promoting bad behaviour all will agree and ladies mind is sick and she need good mental check up.
She had one friend type man in W.Bengal, welknown man and she wrote she had affairs with many famous benglai wrter from india and their families and wives were crying. Basically she is naughty person. She has been never married up to now tell some thing abnormal.
I do not like her opponents behavious but as woman she need to show some khandan .

Let Hindu genociders kill and rape even more muslims and let no court give them justice they will then know that only allah will give them justice and the logic of Pakistan. It is our duty to assist our bothers in getting retribution. No matter how many call centers hindu mass murders build they will all eventually be nuked, its just a matter of time before Mushy is removed and a mard e momin takes over Pakistan's nuclear arsenal. Inshallah that day is not far

Indian/Hindu Democracy in action:

Driven to despair

SMS NEWS to 8888 for latest updates
On January 10, 1993, Hajirabi Qureishi saw her husband and eldest son dragged from her house by Shiv Sainiks who used to hang around the local Sena shakha. When she tried to stop the sainiks, they pushed her off the parapet and she lost consciousness. She never saw her husband and son again.

Much before his inquiry into the 1992-93 Mumbai riots was complete, Justice Srikrishna wrote a letter to the government recommending immediate payment of compensation for missing persons in cases that he had personally investigated. The Qureishis headed that list. Hajirabi should have received Rs 4,00,000; instead she received Rs 2,00,000 eight years later for her husband. Compensation for her son Saleem Qureishi continues to form the subject matter of petitions being heard for the ump-teenth time in the Supreme Court.

Unable to cope with memories of their disappearance, Hajirabi left the Hindu-Muslim chawl that had been home for years to live in a Muslim ghetto. Every known and unknown Muslim organisation had its offices there, including SIMI. Yet they could not recruit Hajira's son Rizwan, his father's favourite.

Farooq Mapkar should have been an ideal candidate for SIMI. Shot in his shoulder on January 10, 1993, while praying inside a mosque, this bank employee saw a namazi being shot dead at point-blank range despite coming out of the mosque with his hands up. Along with the other namazis, Farooq was charged under Section 307.

Fourteen years later, Farooq continues to take leave from his job to attend court hearings in a case declared false by the Srikrishna commission. Contrast this with the case of sub-inspector Nikhil Kapse. The commission found him guilty for unprovoked firing that killed six innocent Muslims. But he was exonerated by a bunch of policemen entrusted with implementing the commission's findings.

The policemen didn't think it necessary to talk to those who testified in front of the commission about the incident involving Kapse. In these 14 years, Kapse hasn't faced a day's suspension. More than Farooq and Rizwan, Abdullah would have made the ideal jehadi. As a 12-year-old, he saw his handicapped father being dragged down the stairs of the madrassa where he taught and shot, pleading for water as he lay dying. Abdullah continued to live in the same madrassa. Eight years later, he joined the legal battle to put behind bars the policemen charged with murder for this incident. When he lost, the entire madrassa felt betrayed.

Even while lashing out at the government's indulgence towards policemen charged with murder, Abdullah was packing his bags for further studies in Deoband. He had graduated from his madrassa with flying colours, with full marks in logic. "Why don't you study law", i asked, "you could fight for your father". "My world is the hereafter", he replied. "He can't get involved in all this", added his teachers.

Mumbai's riot orphans have grown up deprived of their childhood, seen their mothers struggle alone - and often fail - to give them the education their fathers desired for them. They've seen those who led the violent mobs become ministers. A sitting judge pronounced these policemen guilty; his report became an election issue and made ministers out of nobodies, but has yet to be acted upon.

They've seen, over the last year, those who took revenge on their behalf by killing innocent Hindus, being made to pay, some even with life sentences.

Last week, as two Muslim accused in the July 11 train blasts in Mumbai confessed on TV (by a mysterious coincidence, all channels got hold of the footage exactly a year after the blasts), the news anchors screamed: "This man not only betrayed his nation, but also humanity. Doesn't your blood boil when you see this traitor"?

Narendra Modi could be accused of having done the same. No channel asks these questions about him. These double standards are now part of being a Muslim in India's "vibrant" democracy. We should be thankful hundreds of Kafeel Ahmeds haven't produced a swadeshi version of jehad.

The writer is a political commentator.

Faruk sahib,

Justice is not slow in India. Unfortunately, most Indians still have to "fight" for justice. The dalits in UP are showing how!

I agree with the author, all the recommendations of the sri krishna report should be implemented. Sonia Gandhi has promised that but we all know that justice in India is ridiculously slow.

Regards,

Faruk

also, more than a case of Hindus escaping justice, I think it is more of the high and mighty escaping justice. The murderer of Graham Staines and his kids was summarily dispatched because the perpetrator was small fry without connections. Whereas the political bigwigs responsible for the 92 and 84 riots have not been brought to book. Similarly Muslim political bigwigs too escape the arm of the law. Seeing as how you write on Muslim affairs, you must have heard of the attack on Taslima Nasreen in Hyderabad by Majlis leaders. These guys have not been charged and am sure will not be due to their connections. Same goes for Muslim MLAs in UP and Bihar who have long chargesheets but are not convicted. My point is, there is no Hindu conspiracy to deny justice for the victims of 92 or 84 riots. It is the political machinery acting as a clog in the dispensation of justice, whether the perpetrators are Hindu or Muslim. Remember, most people and activists who have agitated for justice in the 92 and 84 riots are Hindus as is justice Sri Krishna who authored the Sri Krishna report.

Mr. Syed,

it is indeed despicable that the perpetrators of the 1992 riots are roaming scot free. It does not credit to our country that justice is being applied selectively. And this is not the first instance this has happened in our republic's history. The perpetrators of 1984 carnage are yet to be brought to justice.

While I agree wholeheartedly with the gist of your article, I do not appreciate the veiled threat at the very end. Such logic is used by terrorists.
