araay yaar 85% of you "worship" him if 97% of pakistani's "worship" jinnah.....whatever....i think both of those guys rocked though i dont worship either.
I think across the border we could all stand to admire and respect them both. Thats all i am saying :)

Folio,

The CNN-IBN Pakistan and India polls are out.. (State of the nation polls)

In this context Jinnah got an approval rating of 97% in Pakistan and 43% in India.

Gandhi got an approval rating 29% in Pakistan and 85% in India.

Naqh Bhai, If they were worse than Nazia, Islam wudnt have set foot on India and grown to this monumental proportions. Outta 145 crores of undivided India, Muslims account for cloe to 50 crores.

Hindu Right is an enemy the modern India had to sleep with coz they are elected by 21% of the polled votes. They are playing according to the rules of Indian democracy. So u cant disenfranchise them offhand.

Pl mind u that whenever they open their mouth they start talking abt Pakistan first. So the after-effects of TNT and Jinnah's divisive politics are having its toll on modern India that is leftover to us.

HP,

India is not a banana republic to fudge figures. Dost Mitter said time and again abt this. U guys seem to wish away the clarifications from DM(DM worked for GOI, Census dept, I think).

what annoys but doesn't surprise me is that whenever an article is published on chowk criticising hindu right wing fascist ideology none of the indian interactors on chowk ever discuss the facts seriously; they either ignore it or resort to abuse or try to change the subject.

maybe it hurts them to look at the dark fascist heart at the centre of their religion when all along they've been telling the world how peaceful hinduism is as a religion. it seems that the real believing hindus are worse than the nazis.

It has been proven beyond any doubt whatsoever that Indian census bureau’s numbers are fudged. Any number presented here that relies on Indian census bureau, is not worth commenting on.

Indian census’s education and literacy numbers have been proven to be off by as much as 35%. Can anyone on this site believe that 59% Muslims in India-including Muslim men and women-are literate? Indian census bureau at least in this area is a joke.

Re: # 110

And to make an amendment... according to Sadna's corrected figures... Pakistani percentage of graduates (inclusive of all communities) was absolutely higher in 1998 ... than Indian Muslim percentage of graduates in 2001.

Sadna..

If that were true, why would you try and switch numbers cleverly in your ilog?

And what is this emphasis on 97% majority when you are comparing all Pakistanis to Indian Muslims?

For one thing Pakistanis (and that 100% population since the number is inclusive of Non-muslims) who started from scratch and had a much lower literacy rate than Indian Muslims in 1947 have done well to CROSS the number of Indian Muslim graduates... or maybe Indian Muslims have done really badly.

Secondly why don't you produce some job placement numbers as well?

So in other words not only is the Pakistani number of graduates(inclusive of all communities) absolutely higher than the Indian Muslim number... but when it comes to job placement, per capital income etc there is no comparison. You would not even attempt to graph that because you are a liar without shame.

Now coming to hyet given that Pakistan's 160 million population has 50 million Cell phone users.... and India's 1.1 billion have 100 million cell phone users... could it be deduced that atleast double (if not more) the number of Pakistani Muslims can afford a cell phone than say Indian Muslims. What does that show you?

If Pakistanis want to take comfort in a 0.03% difference between college gradudates produced by a 97% majority versus those produced by a 14% minority, let them be my guest.

One thing that really boggles my mind is the question why Hindu religious nuts have beef with Muslims residing in India. How could Muslims as a decrepit minority group whose destitution is far worst than that of Dalits be such a threat to Hindu nuts that they would not have mercy on 10 year old girls and burn them alive in front of their families. Such hatered and such insecurity has some deeper foundation and I cannot put my finger on it.

Horror of Horrors !!!
Masadi is being taken seriously by the Minister for education !!!!
Masadi is submitting reports to the government!!!
Higher education in Pakistan shall henceforth be on lines suggested by Masadi!!!

Pinch !!! Wake up !!!! Pinch !!!

We have only Masadi's word for it.

It must be as true as the remainder of his bullshyte , viz his 'students" conducting "research" and publishing "papers" in his "institute". Masadi working towards the "Nobel Prize". Lulu.com being a better publisher than Springer Verlag, McGraw Hill, Prentice Hall etc.

Some prople will believe anything.....

Let us hope that as and when the tottering government falls and the Ministers and their lackeys are executed (nay, shot on the streets like rabid dogs)-- a few particularly sidey llackeys are not allowed to escape.
