GT Sahib #246 {"Since you bar me from repeating it again in chowk I shall try it at home. I only hope that my wife will be as lenient as you are "}
GT Sahib,
Find a language that your wife doesn't understand, then practice all you want. Most of the time, wives are so accustomed to their husbands' gibberish that they hardly notice a strange language. :) As pretty and sexy as they are, never marry an Eye Talian woman if you don't like gaali galoch.

Chauhan sahib:
Thank you for letting me off the hook. I must confess that the gaali galoch felt good. Since you bar me from repeating it again in chowk I shall try it at home. I only hope that my wife will be as lenient as you are :-)

#241 masadi {"Ignore this hypocrite, people like him are the worst among creation, when the day of justice arrives, it will be a pleasure to see their fate..."}
Masadi Sahib,
While I derive no pleasure from seeing the guilty suffer from pain, I am rather puzzled by the conflicting and confusing positions taken by Chacha Buttees.
He claims to be a Pakistani patriot, but he denies repatriation to hundreds of thousands of Pakistanis "stranded in Bangladesh."
He claims to be against racism, but indulges in racist rhetoric by referring to Pakistanis "stranded in Bangladesh" as Biharis.
He claims to be for unity, yet plays a very insidious role in alienating Mohajirs.
He claims to be for democracy, but only if his pick of the litter gets elected.
He claims to be Muslim, but always works for disunity, dismay, disinformation when it comes to Muslims.
Is Qayamat upon us that we can tolerate the Arjuns, but find a momin chacha to be the real enema?

GT #237 {"But if you find it offensive please ignore it .... it is something between Salim and me :-) If he finds it offensive, I shall readily apologise. Yaar, I am trying out some gaali galoch ."}
GT Sahib,
Hopefully there is nothing between you and me. While I find gaali galoch offensive most of the time, it is permissible only for the "mild-mannered" self-described flatulent mominas who lurk around UP - not the villages, but just the Chowk. However, if you are a first-time user of gaali galoch, we will allow you to practice it just once. :)

#239 Zahid-e-Khushk {"would you please ..address the issue ... since it questions the abilities that the offspring of the migrated 'small or medium-sized cities' dwellers from U.P. and Bihar brought to Pakistan but couldn't convert the small Pakistani cities full of ignorance ..."}
Elementary my dear Khushkson,
The "small or medium-sized cities in Pakistan" had just too many native pisser-e-zameen to make a difference. Karachi and Hyderabad fortunately gained sizable Mohajir majorities and their influence and hard work could be easily translated into progress. It takes a lot of clean flowing water to dilute the harmful effects of stagnant water. :)

If by "being a part" you mean benifiting from the machinery, or believing that you do, then of course you do not fight it. Moreover it is fun opressing others. Given a chance, I would definitely do so :-)

tahmed writes "This shows just how badly she seeks power, like musharraf, even if it means such severe damage to the long term interests of Pakistan, and peace and stability in the region."
What would a person who openly supports colonization of India every opportunity he gets and who openly supported the colonization of Iraq by the US in its current invasion that has killed around 1.2 million and displaced almost three times that amount, not to mention those maimed and injured, rendered useless for life, know about "peace and stability of the region". Ignore this hypocrite, people like him are the worst among creation, when the day of justice arrives, it will be a pleasure to see their fate...

As I have been saying for months now, the peon of the US Elite, Musharraf has fallen out of favor with his masters. Now, he is trying to play games with them, uniform, no uniform, deal no deal. They want him powerless and they want him out because come the Iran war (approaching fast), they want another military dictator in power in Pakistan, one that will bow to them with the correct posture in his sajda. The two blasts at the heart of the military complex, in Rawalpindi and Lahore were merely warning shots. Today the final goodbye came when in preparation of the final days of Musharraf's life (or his exit from Pakistan)the US ally in chief, UBL, has declared "war on the president of Pakistan"- this is just a veiled way of prepping the public for the hellfire that the US elite are aiming for his a$$, with the Mullah's finger prints scanned on it for blame; they will also shed a few crocodile tears for their slave after they have got rid of him. These games by the US elite of ruling via their occupation force in Pakistan have nipped in the bud any democracy and democratic institutions in this country. Their games will eventually backfire, any transitory period of democracy before the next military coup (at the heels of the Iran war) will have unforseen consequences, and incrementally the people might gain consciousness, but time for us is running out. Short of a revolution this country is doomed, the MAJ's shenanigans have reached fruitation. IN the mean time hell awaits an inmate and the Zia ul Fcuk, a companion.

Salim and Bridge Sahib,
would you please once again go through my posts #182 and #189 and address the issue which is not a trivial one, since it questions the abilities that the offspring of the migrated 'small or medium-sized cities' dwellers from U.P. and Bihar brought to Pakistan but couldn't convert the small Pakistani cities full of ignorance -- as has been suggested here by some voices many times -- into flourishing economies but the luckier ones deciding to settle down in Karachi could do much better like the offspring of the villagers/small/medium-sized city dwellers from Pakistani provinces.

Clifton, you are right. Votes should not be confined to just voting for people in national elections. But I meant it in a broader sense:
1.If you really support or even like the MQM then become a member and demand a right to vote for its leadership. Democratize MQM.
2. If you are religious get into the politics of your local mosque/temple.
3. If you want Ambani to loose some of his state granted SEZs advantages, then ask for profit shares (with voting rights) in his real estate company instead of selling the land for money to the govt.
So on and so forth.

GT thats a great way of looking at it....however there are some small issues ...in america for eg democracy meant discrimination against blacks and in pakistan democracy means discrimination against nonmuslims and ahmedis.
Sure democracy is good but there also needs to be protection from the tyranny of a majority. What i mean is that just the right to vote isnt the whole idea behind democracy and governance.
Democracy in pakistan in synonymous with large scale corruption and the consolidation of traditional power (feudal) rather than the challenging of it.
