Ardeshir Cowasjee does it (express his opinion) all the time. You can read his weekly column in the English daily "Dawn".
As for President and PM's post, Pakistan is not a secular democracy; nor is it likely to be any time soon. President and PM have to be muslims.
For argument's sake, if Pak becomes secular in name, like India claims to be while being rabidly Hindu, would we then have the license to treat Pakistani Hindus the same way as muslims and dalits are treated in India?

Poor yasser, we have hijacked this board. Sorry, man. We can let viqarm celebrate the good fortune of Pakistani Hindus and cry over the misery of Indian Muslims. So long as we don't care one bit for equality and justice and such nonsense, we lose nothing.
-----------
agree with cliffs there. It's all numbers, numbers, numbers. Mastering the art of complaining and blaming is sone pe suhaga. Hindus can either see that, or choose not to. :)

cobra you have a good point. We dont have that many hindus and the ones who do still live in pakistan do not exercise the same freedom as some indian muslims do...at the same time we dont beat them up either or tear pregnant women's bellies open ala gujrat...its all a numbers game.
Laddu i am embarrassed that i ever tried to give you a reasonable answer to your questions. This stupid question youve asked for the 50th time has been answered many many times ....are you incurable stupid or manic depressive??

But the 'enemy' lies within us, those who feed the breed.

Viq, so tell me, can they be President? Can Hindus truly express their opinions in Pakistan like Farzana does it here?
#239 Posted by KaalChakra on September 18, 2007 8:31:34 am
Cobra, laddu, we need a theory of blaming, complaining, and evil making. People have assiduously honed the art. Take this accomplishment away and everything will fall apart.

The next line to be Chief Justice is Rana Bhagwandas.
As for being able to be "precedent" they have to be able to spell President ...

abey teri beeti utha li jaegi......and then suddenly you would find a signed affidavit from your own daughter that states that she finds it difficult to live with you or consider you as a parent because you are an idolator..and that she has accepted the "TRUTH" of the imaginary moon god and that she has nothing to do with you......
this is the reality of a "free" idolator in Pakistan......

Can they vote for their prime minister? Can they be precedents, chief Justice, Can they fight for their country, be the head of any military wing?
The question is whether hindu's in Pakistan have a voice. They could be model minority but can they truly express their feelings without fear of repercussions. Show me Farzanas of Pakistan.

Hey,
I saw BB interview on "Seedhi Baat" TV program.
She said that only those who support the political BUSINESS of opening and running madarassas in order to gain some political power oppose her amongst moderates.
She said some thing to the effect about ending the business of terror in Pakistan...
this is a great news for idolators like me who are the logical victims of Islam's terrorism.
All idolators support her for this statement......

array bhai borivili,
I left liberalism precisely because I fully supported things like shuddhi movement, and couldn't figure out what on God's earth made the borivillis of this world so upset.
I do not support equality and justice etc, and am doing the best I can to show to blind Hindus that they are chasing the unchaseable. A borivilli will always be a borivilli, never anything less, never anything more.
Hope you agree.
And yes, I fully agree that Sindhi Hindus are very rich, and don't personally find that, or the good luck of the Haris, of much interest.
But I am not a borivilli. Perhaps my secular Hindu friends understand you better.

Viqarm
forget these pongapundits, they have no idea how rich the sindhi hindus are, they dont even know that hindus form the majority in certain areas of Sindh.
They will hide from u that the muslims are only 2% of their govt. and army while being 14% of the pop. while Sikhs whom they encourage for recruitment are over 10% of their army with 2% of the population. Muslims they dont recruit even as constables even if they come to recruitment centers
These are a shameless people who keep touting a man as muslim who wants to hide his identity, he has started snapping at reporters and other who describe him as muslim, you can imagine his fear when he doesnt even grant holidays on eid in his own firm. such is the stupidity of hindus that they want to project him as a representative of muslims, when he himself from his behaviour reveals that he has suceedded by hiding his identity.
What can u say about a people that hold a man as the ideal of secularism who supported the caste system opposed interdining and intermarraiage with muslims and lower castes and supported shuddhi / conversions of poor muslims by Arya Samaj as justified
