Yeah i guess i am, but the point of writing the article was to highlight the experience of receiving guests at the airport in Islamabad-Rawalpindi :)

I've had 3 of my friends call me and tell me how true it was when they went on separate occasions to fetch their friends and family.

ejaz, yes the airport in Rawalpindi/Islamabad should be looked at by the concerned authorities.

The good news is that work is underway on Islamabad's own airport (its off of the M-2 on your way to Peshawar).

I haven't been to Karachi so can't comment there, but Lahore's Allama Iqbal Airport is far better, at least it has walkways where the planes can dock :)

Pakistan just isn't a happy place, its airports are a reflection of that.
