Short, elegant, poignant. So often I read pieces and think to myself 'Too many words...too many words...' - and it is rare indeed to see a piece that seems to me to have just the right number.

I liked the sense of ambiguity here...you were writing in the spaces BETWEEN the characters.

Unfortunately, being the impatient a-hole (a category 5 storm) that I am, I skimmed the story quickly and just saw "raining" over and over again. Since rain is a distant and weak relative of mine, I had no interest in reading about its misadventures. I got bored
