Ref # 8
What I was trying to tell you, you little twerp, was that if the only thing that comes out of your mouth is something closely resembling manure, keep your trap shut so you do not stink up the place. No one with a right mind will ever accuse you of being Judith Martin, because the craft she practices has no place in your vocabulary.

Ref # 9
Your comment does not need to be dignified with a response. Besides you won't understand it anyway.

Re: # 7

salman,

... sorry, but i never have anything nice to say - so you will have to put up with it if you want to visit this forum .... you can take your sensibilities elsewhere ...... besides, i never claimed to be judith martin - as far as i am concerned she is an old hag that should be taken out to the pasture and shot (along with romair).......

Ref # 1.

Kiran has written a very realistic and enjoyable article. I had a laugh reading her depiction of the tv reporters' mundane comments. Overall a very germane article relating the difficulties faced by Karachiites when the political leaders choose to bless us with their presence. Very impressed with her debut write up.

Note to hamidm2: Part of good manners is "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."

well, you made the bed, now you have to lie down on it...

That's the universal truth - you have to pay the price for your foolishness, even here in good old america... neo-con party has screwe!d up at so many levels - things look pretty scary right now...

And it's all Hamidm's fault....

Re: # 3

jeboun,

.... point well made .... after reading your post i actually went back and read this article - it is not half bad ..... sorry, my bad - it was a knee jerk reaction caused by early morning exposure to the fool, romair (he is also responsible for global warming and the carnage in darfur) ....

.... but i still do think that lately chowk staff has been been publishing anything and everything that comes across their desk .... some of which is utter garbage

.... and please don't take my and god's name in the same sentence - he and i don't get along too well ......

Hamidm2
Dear friend,
Learn to accept that you are not the only person with an opinion to offer and if you do - offer it with grace and humility. Unfortunately, you seem to possess neither of these - therefore one can expect comments like that from you. Chowk is actively promoting an opinion from all people, from all walks of life be it students, or learned people like yourself(again the evidence suggests otherwise). Kiran Kanwal tried to highlight a situation as she lives in karachi and she has a better understanding what that means to be the citizen and also as a student - disruption and all that mayhem that have engulfed karachi in the past and now as well. Politics for the sake of politics is a dangerous business my friend, and if you cannot get to understand this , then i am afraid you better go and see how people get affected in these circumstances and how they cope with it.

It is easier to pronounce an opinion but harder to understand what others are trying to say. It will do you a great deal of good if you can just begin to appreciate the beauty of life and the humans with opinions.

I have looked at some of the interacts you have contributed and by God, the thoughts and standards of delivery are far from even the standards of Matriculation student. Have a great day.
