You have used similies very well to depict the condition of societies. Though it is not idealistic and have gray areas. This makes me think who is a 'so-called' hijra and who isn't? Great setting and awesome story.

Beautiful story...well written....
Its very sad as well. Reminds me of Dayanita Singh's book, "Me, Myself Mona Ahmed".
