i'm sure waleed would be reading this too. things u werent ever able to say him, he knows now.
everytime i used to leave the conversation without telling him or saying bye, the next second he used to message on my cell saying '...n vanished anum was no-where to be found'. a subtle smile n i used to go back instantly. i now say this day and night but.....
anyway, miss u.

I am saddened by your loss; and our's. One
good thing I have seen people in the West is they do something to give meaning to the lives so tragically lost in their prime.
At the very least:
sham'a kO bhI ho zarA mAlUm anjAm'e sitam
sarf-e ta'mIr-e saher KhAkastar-e parvAna kar

I just hope and pray that all of us how new Waleed, and those who read this article and get to know a little about him, pray for him and keep him alive by celebrating the life he lived. As I mentioned in the article "Good men have the fewest years." Waleed indeed was a good man and so much more.
Anum, he has not vanished, just not physically seen, he is still with us.

Beautiful writing here,
especially since it originated directly from the heart.

Wonderful.
A touching tribute.
Superb narration, which creates a great impact about Waleed Iqbal.
