What Unna Daataa (the Great Giver) Musharraf says that since he is the one who 'gave' freedom to media -- that the media did not have before him to start with -- he is entitiled to take it back whenever he chooses to do so -- Media cannot demand something that never belonged to it -- now that is one hell of a sound logic -- coming from a totally crazy unsound mind.

Jang group through GEO has become a party. And thus has lost its credibility as a news organization.
But Jang has a long history of taking sides, with sometimes disastrous consequences for the Pakistan and its people sometimes.
I can narrate since 1968 but particularly after 1970.
Jang newspaper group took full side with Ayub Khan. But when the movement did not come under control, it alongwith another party of establishment JI, started celebrating "Youme Shokat Islam".
The role of Jang newspaper was as a mouthorgan for establishment in the debacle of 1970-71 alongwith its another branch JI.
The trend is continuing all along from Bhutto era to Zia era till today. For its benefit it does not care about Pakistan and its people. Since it is MEDIA, countering it is very difficult. If it can take the institution of Army, what about the common man. For last seven years it has been successful in talking points which has helped the dictatorship. As someone said Mir Sahab smiling and other people fighting.
Although it is somewhat costly, but some remedy needs to be done. Newspaper business should be completely seperated from its TV entertainment business. And news should be regulated to unbiased reporting. Breaking the business is also good as is the norm in USA to prevent monopoly.
It will be good for healthy competition.
There is no question that credibility of Jang newspaper group as an unbiased reporter has been seriously jeopardized during this emergency when Dr. Shahid Masood (who was probably brought from ARY in keeping the overall planning). started in NEWS. As I said before, GEO and Jang group wanted to be heroes as they did during Nawaz Sharif time. But this time people are more psd off at GEO and Jang group for their opportunism and lackeyism.

“The role of Jang newspaper was as a mouthorgan for establishment in the debacle of 1970-71 alongwith its another branch JI.”
Is Jang still mouthorgan of establishement????
“The trend is continuing all along from Bhutto era to Zia era till today. For its benefit it does not care about Pakistan and its people.”
Jang group is taking huge benefits from Musharaff??? Business growth is all time high these days?? They have expanded their reach and earning big amount in terms of ads and Mush is heplping Jang to get more ads from others as well…
“As I said before, GEO and Jang group wanted to be heroes as they did during Nawaz Sharif time”
Yes Geo is becoming hero at the cost of its business. Mir Shakeel will cash this cheque of heroism in future to come over group’ losses.
“For last seven years it has been successful in talking points which has helped the dictatorship”
And now dictator is very much pleased with their performance as he sent token of appreciation through UAE authorities and GEO has started celebrations outside of its offices and journalist are dancing to the tunes of Pakistan police. Geat extravaganza.......

This is not to be missed. A London demonstrator is saying that Pakistan's real problem is not constitution or politics. Actually it is 'Pagal kuttey key katey ka ilaaj'!

With the Media banned -- the real Supreme Court under house arrest -- the Constitution in 'abeyance' -- and a puppet kangaroo court in session -- the stage is set for the self coronation of the PCO King Musharraf in an as much self-assured manner as a drunken walk at a dark dreary night -- on a roadside straight line.
Now this is a routine stuff -- nothing exciting that people have not seen before.
What the world is eagerly waiting and salivating for -- is to watch the tantalizing Strip Tease by go go dancer Musharraf sahib -- on the Burlesque stage of Pakistani dictatorship -- peeling off seductively his uniform -- piece by piece -- taking off one moment -- putting back next instance -- one item at time slowly and suspensefully -- till the final G(un) string is loosened and handed with a coquettishly obscene gesture -- to the eager stage hand -- Kiyani -- who is ready to run away with it as soon as possible -- never to look back again.

The peace loving civilised international community and all those who are really heard today in Pakistan should not forget to keep demanding and pressurising the usurper to restore independent minded constitutional judges because without their restoration there would be no true democracy or rule of law in pakistan

Musharraf-occupied Pakistan kicked out of Commonweath.
Decision threatens to deprive Pakistan of hundreds of millions of pounds of outside investment and development funding.(London Times)
The letch would rather drive the country into a gutter than let it go.
Well -- a major good-riddance event is awaiting the bugger's "nathia" removal ceremony -- on Saturday -- (hopefully this Saturday not the Saturday after 5 years).
A professional soldier like Kayani is not going to marry an unprofessional postitute.

Nasah sahib,
(A professional soldier like Kayani is not going to marry an unprofessional postitute. )
People once thought that Mush was a professional soldier. the problem is the Army as an institution, not Mush as a person.
Regards

"People once thought that Mush was a professional soldier."
(Majumdar)
Majumdar sahib -- once upon a time there was a Musharraf who was a lot of things -- real or imagined -- a 'professional soldier' -- of 'enlightened moderation' -- a 'progressive' a 'democratic general' -- job insecurity took care of all those high faluting misnomers.
Now Musharraf sahib is a pathetic skeleton of his old confident, urbane, 'civilized' self.
Now he has turned more like into a mangy, snarling, arched-back, teeth-baring desperate street canine -- trying to hold on to its piece of the presidential bone against his civilian interlocutors.

[A professional soldier like Kayani is not going to marry an unprofessional postitute.] Agreed. General Kiani is only waiting to become COAS, and then the world will see a regime change in Pakistan.
The bigger story that got side-tracked in these events is the US War with Iran.

Yes it would be interesting -- when Kiyani will promulgate martial law to depose Musharraf -- as Musharraf did to depose the real -- not the make-believe -- Supreme Court.
If Musharraf as a COASS can do it -- so can Kiyani as the real COAS.
btw -- it is Saturday in Pakistan -- has Musharraf started his uniform strip-tease yet -- or it is still only tease no strip?
