Re: # 8

"Musharraf has just come back from the House of Saud. Why involve a third country in our politics? How pathetic!!!"

Pathetic indeed -- Musharraf got thrashed by the King for dumping his personal liability on king's lap.

The Saudi king ordered Musharraf to let Sharif return to Lahore -- if not like Sharif of Mecca -- like Sharif from Mecca -- to emphasize that point he let Musharraf know that Sharif will go to Pakistan in the ROyal coach -- not Emirate ailrline -- that's why Musharraf had to cut short his visit to Medina and was almost run out of SA by the Saudi royals.

Saudia got a very bad press last time when Nawaz Sharif was bundled back in such a thuggish manner from Islamabad to Riyad almost like a kidnap victim. That got House of Saud whopping mad at Musharraf.

Now with the forced return of Nawaz Sharif this time by the Saudis -- in Musharraf's lap -- Musharraf's problems have mounted mannyfold. He thought he had made it with the emergency -- but Nawaz is going to be a big huddee in his emergency shish kebaob.

Now it is time for Benazir to get together with Nawaz and force the dictator to roll back his emergency shit to pre November 3, state -- or there will be no "free, fair and transparent" elections worth even teen paisay.

The unconstitutional government has now charged 14 faculty members with sedition for their role in the deonstrations against emergency rule and the PCO and for demanding the restoration of the constitution. They are charged of having the guts to demand basic civil rights.

very realistic analysis i belive that the present crises in pakistan is a blessing in disguise for the urban population as they now take the stand objectivly and boldly and could break the self proclaimes idols like jamiat and military dictaors.

"Go Jamiat Go" is an encouragement to Jamiat to carry on with its activities.

The author should have said "Jamiat, Go Away" or "Jamiat, Get Lost".

With the collapse of communism Jamiat has outlived its useability. on the other hand it has now turned into the enforcers of Western capitalist neo-colonialism especially on Muslim lands. But the bigger crime is that they have always supported openly or clandestinely the military dictators, anti-Muslim laws, and they are fully involved in the masacre of school children in Islamabad. For these very reason they have forefieted their rights to exist in a civilized society. It is incumbent upon all Muslims and Pakistanis to socially boycott this progeny of satan.

MMA is the creation of Pakistan Army -- Musharraf was the midwife. He has been feeding candy to the hypocrite Maulana Rehaman.

This is what happens with a dictator keeping the shutters closed on genuine political parties by the barrel of the gun, incarcerations, self-serving ordinances, etc., etc.

Musharraf has just come back from the House of Saud. Why involve a third country in our politics? How pathetic!!!

Is this milieu a defecation of the military-mullah alliance or is the Jamaat-e-Islami really that influential in Punjab?

This is either Yasser mian's brother or the man himself under a different nick. The highlighted word is something he frequently uses in his posts and is a kind of giveaway.

Dear author,

If the "Jamaatis are not the forgiving or forgetting types", and you have already done what you have done, then make sure NOW that they do not exist in the future. Do not stop what you have started. All power to you and all the best.

Agreed for the most part. Students belonging to the IJT are violent and must be checked. It was encouraged to be nourished mostly by none other than ZAB. Unfortunately, for most Pakistani students the leftist students of the mid-60's were crushed by the goons of the government (read ZAB). Students in the mid-1970s were for the most had liberal orientation. All across Pakistani universities, IJT were badly beaten, because they promote ideology of hate. The biggest ideology of hate is their insistence that MAJ was a sinner (read: Qafir-e-azeem).

But, Raza, as suggested in #1, please do take care with IJT.

Dear Raza,

Friendly advise, if you are a student of PU and actively opposing IJT, it is my humble advise that you cease and desist. Ignore this advise at your own peril, Jamaatis are not the forgiving or forgetting type and more importantly there is no formal opposition compared to the disciplined, organized, lethal jamati setup.
