yaar skeptical,
that place you seek is called Afghanistan. Where a mere sight of colored socks made the men salivate. A few strands of hair poking out of the hijab got their hearts racing.
Kaal bhai,
What can I do, my standards for beauty have evolved past a simple state of nudity. I actually care what the person looks like too ;). Unlike some tharkees that will faint at the sight of a thigh or a bare arm, I can appreciate the female form clothed or unclothed :).

lol, this is the specical gift of sufis. Leave them unsupervised for a few minutes, and they confuse and confound every issue under the sun.
Bhaiyon, who cares whether ts brother is attracted by the sight of half-naked women or not. Men have all kinds of preferences, and why must ts be attracted to women at all?
The point that abu, to the best of my understanding, has been making is that his religion does not look kindly upon women running around in that state of dishabille. And if some people argue that it is all interpretation and religiously it does not matter what people do or do not do, then he is going to (politely, hopefully) remind them that it does.
baat khatam.

Bhai talk about reality....
nudist resorts are not a very common phenomenon..
and by the way people pay money (and enormous amounts to go there) and then get "bored" due to too much nudity...
Although I do not find any one (even those who have been to nudist resorts and gotten bored)to pay money and visit places full of women with hijab....
In a nudist colony a woman with hijab will appear amusing or strange but not sexually attractive....
certain things my dear are natural...
even when men find women with hijab attractive due to so called "mystique" they are imagining how would they look with out it.....
However I am not suggesting that all rapes etc will stop if women start taking hijab....but merely that nudity has a stronger appeal...
regarding hijab I would just say one thing....
i think too much stress is given on women adopting to curtail men's so called attraction towards them...
The time has come that efforts should be directed towards men and their reformation....I find it shameless that if a women is raped it is her fault.....
whether clotheed, hijab or no hijab....
Men should be held responsible for their actions

yaar skeptical. Those websites that you be looking for, they may be filed under fetish.
All I am saying is that clothed and unclothed lose meaning after a while. Example: Look at nudist resorts. After a while, the state of unclotheness is no longer the factor that desirability is based on. In cuba, all the girls wear extremely short skirts. But people are used to it. Catch the drift?

Re: # 107 and 108
both of you have missed the point...
a beautiful women without hijab will be more attractive...
the idea is not to compare an ugly woman in bikini with a beautiful woman in hijab.....
the righ comparison regarding attraction is a good looking woman with hijab and then with out hijab...which version is more attractive.....
The problem is that we have tendency to cite extreme examples...
attraction is dependent upon a number of variables...
dress or lack of it is important provided other factors are kept constant ( this is number one assumption in any social sciece thery...)....and mind you people do not pay enormous amounts to adult websites to see women in hijab.....
give me one website which does so......
I am waiting...

[A beautiful woman is beautiful in hijab or out of it.]
I get it, finally!
These burqawalis are smart!
They hide their looks so we – the men – can imagine more and more.
The more they hide – the more we imagine – and the more we yearn – and the more we “heat up”! Until we heat up hotter than a volcano – and steam starts coming out of our ears!
And these burqawalis – what do they do?! They play coy, and they cover it up even more!
And we, the helpless mankind, heat up even more – we simmer in our own heat! And just then, what do these burqawalis do?!
Why, they go for the whole nine yards – they commit the ultimate of the provocative acts!
They cover it ALL up. Down comes the hijab - and surrounds it all! Not only you can not touch - you can not even look!
Sheer genius!
What could be worse to get those men’s muscular machines of manhood even more fully revved up?! So revved up are those machines then that those poor men cease to care what it really looks like - whatever may lurk under that burqa!
Because, by the time they could get to it – I mean get their hands on the goodies…
Why, by that time, EVERYTHING looks beautiful!

Hurricane,
I totally agree.
If you see some of these black and latino women in extremely tight halter tops and very low cut jeans with nothing left to the imagination in New York City, you would agree that nothing is attractive about them in all their barely dressed glory.

Re: # 106
I completely disagree with the "attracted more to unclothed" theory.
1. If a woman is unattractive, she may repel people if she wears less clothes.
2. I live on the beaches. All the ladies are in bikinis etc. The novelty wears off. You see people for people after a bit. Now if you were to place that bikini girl in a church, that would change everything...so context is important. For the talibaan, colorful socks were attractive.
If all women were not to wear hijab, then wearing the hijab would become the attractive thing....

to take hijab or not should be matter of personal choice....
I do not know what the fuss is all about....
Religon is a personal matter....
And should remain so.....
regarding men.....
well there is no doubt that they are attracted more to revealing clothing rather than hijab.....
though I seriously doubt that hijab "liberates" women.....

Hurricane Bhai,
I didnt formally put him on my ignore list. I Just meant that I wont engage in dialogue with him. Its quite futile!
I am sure Hamza is a wonderful person, and probably so is Abu Safwaan.
I just dont want to discuss anything with them in the future, because I will always be wrong no matter what!
Both of them have become too personal, and left common decency by the wayside. Thus, May they be wise and prosper. I will end with this prayer.

All's i was saying that It was him who insinuated that since his mother didnt do hijaab....than it MUST not be necessary....i dont bring my mother n my grandmother as witnesses in conversation when he does than we have to address that..i m not dissing them...i m saying if his mother n grandmother r of the opinion that ISLAMICALY its OK for men to marry men or love them romatically or even if they r of the opinion that men n women can be with each without marraige and thats perfectly within bounds ISLAMICALY than my mother n grandmother would respectfully object n disagree...n so would I...i m not suggesting whether that makes them good muslim or bad..or whthere i m a good muslim or bad..i m here defending what my religion is...he is preaching to all of us what Islam allows n doesnt allow..if hes wrong than its my responsibility to set the record straight...

Shore sahib,
may I suggest that you remove abu/hamza from your ignore list?
When he is angry, he often makes incendiary remarks, but he does apologize for them later. Furthermore, he truly does reason quite well if you get him to calm down.
Abu yaar, can you tone down and converse normally for a bit with shore. Both of you have some valid points. Explore further. I encourage you to see similarities (now that Kaal is gone)

Mr. Hamza,
Thank you for your response.
You keep telling me that what I do in the privavy of my own home is my own business, yet you bring it up over and over again.
You have absolutely no idea what I do in the privacy of my home.
My mother or grandmother have no desire to tell you anything, so lets keep them out of it.
You can scream all you want at me about my ignorance about Islam. But that is your opinion, and it does not make it true.
There are those who call the Prophet a pedophile for consummating marriage with a nine year old Ayesha. It is again, just an opinion. It does not make it true.
This is my last post to you. From now onwards you are on permanent ignore. To you your Deen, and to me mine!

Good. That is how it should be. To Hindus, I even tell: I am God Himself - a very lousy and worthless sort of God, but God nevertheless. he he. bye, dost.
