CheGuevara I'm not kidding you. You think cricketers are "fairies" because they won't play in the rain. The fact that cricket cannot be played in the rain has nothing to do with the players being "fairies". It has to do with the cricket pitch/wicket, not any personal preferences on the part of the player(s)

Arif bhai,

(What is the real issue here, Shoaib banging Indian turf on or off the field? )

If Shoaib had done as much Injun banging on the turf as off it, it would Pakis who would have been 1-0 up in the series!!!

Regards

Indian sahib,

Parties and saloons? What is the real issue here, Shoaib banging Indian turf on or off the field?

Both teams are bad.Any B Grade Aussie team can beat a team comprised of best players of both teams. I think Pakistan will do good in final, but that f*** shoaib akhtar needs to spend more time on field rather than at parties and saloons.

Thanks for that steaming nugget of wisdom CheGuevara. And for the record, the reason Cricket cannot be played in the rain is that excessive moisture compromises the integrity of the turf wicket which is made of entirely organic materials i.e clay, soil, grass etc.

Cricket is such a horrible boring sport it should be banned. "Oooh look at us we can't play in the rain we'll get wet". Bunch of fairies.

HS,

I agree with your thesis and share the same concerns, but will disagree with the idea that this is the weakest team ever to disappoint Pak fans. Have we forgotten the first round exit from the last worldcup? Losing to Ireland? Then we had all the greats (Inzi, Woolmer) yet we suffered humiliating defeat.

Problem with Pak cricket is their unwillingness to try new talent, honor merit and punish mediocrity. That is the Ozzi spirit, ours is stick with known commodities and reduce headline risk. Thus the mediocrity.

Indian team is not better than Pakistan. Kumble has to say something, so he said that. The media frames question in such a manner that, Kumble has to speak in that manner. Reagarding performance of Pakistani team, with this bad state, they are similar to "*" studded indian cricket team. Pakstani team will perform better. I am not seeing much hope for Indian team against Australia.
