She was the best Pakistan had to offer. I am sad that she is killed in such a brutal savage manner. I pray to Allah, may his peace be upon her & her family & the poor peopple of pakistan.

In 79 they kiiled our father, today they killed our daughter. But they can not kill the Bhutto in every Pakistani. Zinda hai Bhutto Zinda hai!!!!!!!

Re#5
CNN broadcast his comments. Said he had a broken voice and could not speak much. They said he had mentioned that she was fired at after the blast at close range and she died of bullet wounds. CNN also said her children flying to Karachi. Her 19 years son is unconsolable.

Re #2
Emily Dickonson wrote,
"Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul.
And sings the tune
Without the words,
and never stops at all."
And I do feel as that bird is going to fly away
from the perch of my soul
with this evil clap of hands (Tali ...)
And I feel like we are falling through an abyss ...
And that tune which sang without the words,
I can hear no more
With all this clamour and roar
Yes, I want to pray,
But my heart is numb
And when I want to say
From my lips no words come

So unfortunate for Bhutto family..I haven't heard any comments from Mr ten percent Zardari yet....I feel sooo sad for children. Benazir's assassination brought back all the memories of 1979 and Bhutto dobara zinda ho gaya.

Bhutto family gave more to our country than all of the founding fathers and their families combined can ever even imagine.

yes hope! Hope is all we have a very frail fragile chord it has become with sustained frictions. But that's all Pakistani nation has with which we r hanging on to prevent us from fall in the deep dark pit of failed state. Let's strengthen it with some work, the struggle, the prayers to create magic and miracle rescue.
One line with which Benazir will be remembered is "Courageous Muslim Daughter of Pakistan"

The enigma is that she knowingly went into the lion's den. Someone has said that she was either stupid or very brave. I believe that she had found a committment in her heart to do something big for the country even if that meant risking her very life. And what a risk it was. In spite of all her flaws, she is a martyr for a cause. In spite of her flaws, she was hope and brightness in otherwise dismal and dark state of Pakistan. What a tragedy.
