HP: There may or may not have been another sniper. Pavo and I were trying to explain the govt's (or whoever gave the orders) need to destroy the evidence. IF you've provided an explanation for this, I've missed it.

Re: # 33 my office is on auto baan

I am told that area has changed but that used to be a residential area Unit no.3.

sorry, pavo didn't suggest that the sniper would have been at least 400 m away. He merely stated that he could have been that far, or further.

"i think they were boozing together."
Hmmm. Boozing with Hippy? so Amin is even older than you are suggesting Hippy was not even in Hyderabad after the 70s.
I have not been to Hyderabad in sometime. Are you by the Kawish office?

PM,

The snipper story by Pavo appears to be his cover up. There was no other snipper.
You see if this attempt had failed they would have gone for another one. This was all planned and that is what Pavo is suggesting and I agree with that!

Re: # 30 i cannot say what pavo meant .its possible that the first shot fired by gunman on ground was signal for sniper to fire.observers say that there were buildings as close as 100 metres.the silenced rifle was used to hide the sound of snipers rifle.

Okay now you are changing story on me. You are settled in Hyderabad. Where in Hyderabad?

How well you know Ghani Talpur? Maulana Hippy was not some intellectual that Major Amin would benefit form his association.

Tigram jee, #23, I'm not sure you've understood my point-- a result, no doubt, of my poor writing skills.

Anyways, the point, rehash, is that I thought the problem with pavo's theory is that the target of the assumed sniper (at least 400 yds away by his reckoning) would be BB AFTER the initial shots had been fired by the closer gunman. I have no problems accepting that this gunman actually shot BB fatally. But I, and I think pavo too, were trying to explain the govts. incredible destruction of evidence by pressure-hosing the crime scene in a matter of an hour.
