hamidumdum #237 {"salim mian,
but i am glad to hear that you are once again getting pissed even though it is on cheap indian lager ..... i was getting a little worried about you when you talked about giving up drinking because of a turkish woman ..."}
Hamidumdum Sahib,
The news of my liberation is rather premature. I am still on the stupid wagon. The lovely Turkish tyrant has not permitted me to drink since May of 2005. :( I just love to talk about the good old days - history in my case is either BB or AB (before ban or after ban).
Since both Slobo and Alija have kicked the bucket, let's talk about you and Urstruly doing elbow exercises in the Motor City. He has really mellowed and I give you the credit for the conversion. Next time you're in Livonia or Plymouth or even those joints on Telegraph, let's drink to his health - BTW, do the jihadi bartenders in Dearborn still serve those near-beers? :(

Stuka,
I know what you mean, buddy. Just like the fact that I love Taj Mahal and Kingfisher, but can't stand the Injun Scotch. LOL :)
I noticed that you have not forgotten the City of Lions. LOL

Balkanization of Pakistan has been on the table since 9/11, I do not remember the think tank but this theory has been proposed and discusses in quite detail. US administration has been behaving like an imperial power and there is a segment of US political administration that wishes to redraw all borders in the Muslim world. These plans extend from Syria to Pakistan in the east.Since Pakistan presents the worst scenario and with some help of our neighbors, the proposed breakup of Pakistan is becoming a real prospect. Now that does not mean Pakistanis are innocent, on the contrary, there is no other state that depicts such suicidal tendencies when compared to Pakistan.
When we talk about Pakistan, we should also qualify our statement by making it very clear that we mean Pakistan Army and when we say Pakistan army by default the implication is Punjab. Other ethnic populations have either chosen to align themselves with the state and share the pie or were subjected to ruthless subjugation which is evidenced by the Bengal (Awami League), Pukhtoon (NAP), Baloch (Nationalists), Sindhi (PPP) and Mohajir (MQM) operations conducted by the state under the guise of defending the state.

"Anil Bhai,
I have heard about Murree Beer - never tried it."
It is actually pretty good. I bought a case in the Singaporean section of Lahore - the Theka in the Pearl Continental hotel. Really enjoyed the Murree beer - unlike the Murree whiskey which is disgusting.

Fuzair:
"Incidentally, my own family on my father's side is actually originally Urdu-speaking from what is now Haryana, just west of Delhi."
I assume you are a Meo Muslim? We did not even know that there were Muslims in Haryana in any substantial number till my aunt was posted to Jhajjar in Haryana. It was a Meo Muslim area - interestingly the Meos are Hinduized Muslims (or Islamized Hindus) in the sense that they follow both Hindu and Muslim traditions.

salim mian,
..... i am really not interested in this pissing contest between the pissers and the non-pissers, but i am glad to hear that you are once again getting pissed even though it is on cheap indian lager ..... i was getting a little worried about you when you talked about giving up drinking because of a turkish woman ..... as slobodan milosevic, the great serb freedom fighter, once said about alija izetbegovic, "it is hard to sit down and talk to a man who doesn't drink"

{"Btw, The correct translation of Son of the Soil in urdu is Farzande Zameen and Not pisser e Zameen. "}
You use your term, I will use mine. Pisser is definitely Farsi for SON. The French word FILS is related to PISSER. :)
If you can't take the force get out of the jetstream. LOL

Anil #220 and 221..
Anil Bhai,
I have nothing against Sindhi Hindus or even Muslims. The Sindhi Hindus that I have met in Bombay, Hong Kong, and US are certainly very decent and positive human beings. The Sindhi Muslims I personally know are very gracious, hospitable and decent people.
The issue is one of economic advancement, female emancipation, and emphasis on education. I have asked HP Sahib why Sindhi Muslims remained backward from 711 AD to 1947 AD? Mohajirs only arrived in after partition.

#218 anil {"or go in politics and manage branded people. Don't you think, for you the latter is better."}
Anil Bhai,
I have heard about Murree Beer - never tried it. I enjoy getting stoned without getting lashed. :)
Both Taj Mahal and Kingfisher are excellent and well worth the imported price. The latter, really chilled, goes great with very hot tikkah on a hotter day on Juhu Beach.
I have no desire to go into politics. If nominated I will not run, if elected I will not serve. :)
