I assume you are a Meo Muslim? We did not even know that there were Muslims in Haryana in any substantial number till my aunt was posted to Jhajjar in Haryana. It was a Meo Muslim area - interestingly the Meos are Hinduized Muslims (or Islamized Hindus) in the sense that they follow both Hindu and Muslim traditions.

I have nothing against Sindhi Hindus or even Muslims. The Sindhi Hindus that I have met in Bombay, Hong Kong, and US are certainly very decent and positive human beings. The Sindhi Muslims I personally know are very gracious, hospitable and decent people.

The issue is one of economic advancement, female emancipation, and emphasis on education. I have asked HP Sahib why Sindhi Muslims remained backward from 711 AD to 1947 AD? Mohajirs only arrived in after partition.

Both Taj Mahal and Kingfisher are excellent and well worth the imported price. The latter, really chilled, goes great with very hot tikkah on a hotter day on Juhu Beach.

I have no desire to go into politics. If nominated I will not run, if elected I will not serve. :)
