Just imagine, if they had got Jinnah rather than Dr. King? He would have split the country into two to achieve the equal rights to African Americans.

Ras writes "But from one not running for office, or endorsing any party or candidate here, this short writing is about acknowledging Dr. King’s wonderful work from an immigrant-citizen’s perspective during a time when democracy is being practiced. Without the struggle that Dr. King led and died for, many of us “New Americans” would not have the rights we enjoy today."

Come on King was totally coopted by the white man and his shit, that is why the mainstream found him so acceptible except for the die hard bigots who cannot tolerate any black man uncle tom or not. The real leader of the civil rights movement who shook the establishment was Malcolm X, he was deliberately demonized, marginalized and murdered by the establishment- the Malcolm X I am talking about was the one before his "conversion" to Saudi Islam- that was the true revolutionary, he himself was tricked by and succumbed to the white man's BS at the end. You can never attain civil rights and equality by "integration" in the white man's society, histroy has proven that he will never accept you as equal, the only way to get your rights is to demand them as total seperation between the oppressed and their oppressors, we will no longer live under their system and their domination, we will reject their economic system, their social system, their system of laws, and everything that describes them, TOTAL seperation between the shaitan and God's people...

Cobra writes "Just imagine, if they had got Jinnah..."

Jinnah was more like MLK than you can imagine both were serving their colonial masters, the former regarding a dependency which would be more functional to them split the other at home which wouldn't be allowed to be split, even though it did not belong by any stretch of the imagination to the white settlers who raped the land...

That was one of the worst opening sentences (with atrocious grammar) I've read from you Mr. Siddiqui and it surprises me coming from you...

Barack's campaign is fizzling out. Clinton won in N Hampshire and in Colorado and now seems likely to be the Democrat's candidate. So, a bitch for President? Better than a nigger. That is how many Americans will be thinking (and not my own thoughts).

Still I hope the Democrats and not the Republicans win.

Thanks for this, Ras!

I will say, when all is said in done, Clinton, Edwards and Obama have some great ideas and it IS very exciting to see working class, African American, and women candidates in this race.

Edwards is as working class as I'm white.

RE: Cobra #1 & 6
Jinnah Sahib would have moved the courts first! Edwards is
not working class but good VP material!

RE: #'s 2& 3 masadi:
I will have to wait for Malcolm X Day to write something
of that nature. MLK has been a favorite of mine for along time.He used Gandhi Ji's methods quite successfully. MLK was also like a Sir Syed for Black folks in America.

RE: #4 Naqsbandi
Hey, it surprised me too but it happens. I took out a quote from a local newspaper from the first line just before submitting this. Hopefully I can get it corrected. Too much Merlot I guess!
You should not speculate on what American's think. I think
that you are wrong in your observations on gender and race
in the USA today.

RE: #5 neembu
Thanks for the response. I will feel better when the first line is corrected. I am hoping for a Clinton-Obama ticket
this November. Go Democrats!

In closing "Congratulations" to The New England Patriots for their victory over San Diego today. The New York-Green Bay game is still too close to call. What a great day for
Football!

Re: # 2
Malcom X is slave name, a name of white slave owners. He changed his name to Haji Al Malik Al Subbah after he visited Mecca. I have heard champion Mike tyson and Michel Jackson , his brother and some famous people from Holiwood are becoming muslim. I have heard Mr Mandela is very friend of Arabs and palestanian people. Also H H Elija Mohammad and his son dean MO. also luis F Khan are spreading the message of Islam. Americab blacks are becoming muslims and dropping the churches. In prisons in usa there is great numbers of muslims rising as most are dark african people and nation of Islam and others celebrities like many in holiwood are supporting movement with battle cry of No Justice NO peace. There is exponential rise in number of believers and pakistani Ullema is at forefront.
THanks for your critical analysis of social dynamics and divergent views of MLK JR and Malcom X .

Re: # 9 I do not understand why people want to show off and say they are living in usa. Why this bill clinton and hillary clinton reference can not fathom. This place is about pakistan and india is incidental. Now I know some are admitted to usa due to there exceptional skills and due to lack of local talents in this matter. Most women have gone ( 70%) due to spousal support. Now there are shameless men wh have followed women as thier husband dependent. I am little getting tired of proamerican till of this news paper. People always talk about usa all time is shameless. People here are very smart. Once one man came from ameica and introduced as very learned man but he was clean bold by unwashed Abdulla. He correctly told that PdH maths man what is use of your mathematics as 2+2= 4 always.Does it make differece in Bazzar and he even said all this stuff is not useful here. Now usa is reach country they can have crazy professors.
Same way I do not understand what use of writing about black man in pakistani newspaper we do not like them much except they are muslims. Just author wants to say he live in usa. Now slowly time has come to tell people to shut up stop being proud of being citizen of usa. Usa is nothing but just big barbarian with big stick and head full of muscule. Now they make wrong statement MLK as like Sie Sayed Ahmed. There is no comparison between two, mlk followed gandhi in race unity ( its better for black race and detrimental to others as others loose race and children always look black). If Mlk was like Sir Sayed Ahmed he would have asked for separate nation for black nation like jinnah who was follower sir S.A. I think if there is food adulderation is ok but race mixing is problem. Race is not just color but other things like religion etc.
Anyway I feel this article belong to american newspaper than pakistani newspaper. It has become to much domination of american pakistan muslims and indian in usa and all natives hindus and muslims are at loss. As this was started to give opportunity for local natives to write but 95% of writig is by foreign people with "AMERICAN" Agenda.
I am requesting editors to atleast make 40% LOCAL CONTENTS.
Also this people have no value in usa as white people, no they can write as much as they want about american things and their cars , marry foreign white women and get mixed children usa govt does not consider them white. This is pathetic attempt to show writing about MLK and clinton etc to show they are real like white americans. But they just pakastanis and indians to white americans. One american was asked about India and pakistan. He frankly told they are all useless , Indians are just bunch of hindus worshipping cows , monkeys and animals and Pakistanies bunch of jahadis running crazies afraids of afghan Talibans.
Any way owners need to decide is is pakistan or american newspaper. Hope they increase local contribution content. Good Night everybody.

Madani sahib race aduldration is ok -- it is the food aduldreation that is is a crime -- indeed your comments belong to the "Pakistani newspaper" -- did you know 99.99999% of yours and your ancestors genes are charcaol BLACK. No atam hathiya pleeze. That will not be a good satire.

This sure is going to be an interesting election!

RAS I have a small problem. Comparing Obama to the Great MLK is an insult to MLK. MLK was a man who knew what he wanted, and he knew where he wanted to take his people, he knew how he wanted to get it. Also MLk was an extremely learned person. A man of great substance.

Obama is all hype and no substance. He has no clue as to what he wants changed, he has no idea as ...about anything
this cartoon sums it all up

Hillary Clinton - now there is a person who is strong, has a notion what needs to be changed and has a good grasp of what needs to be changed. She also knows the pitfalls - having tried her hand with the Health System (when Clinton was prez) and getting pilloried.
