Institutional discrimination implies that the life chances offered to you are restricted from the get go, even when you struggle past one rung the other one is blocked to filter out your kind, the individual does not have to explicitly state why the other person is being disallowed, the institution is structured this way. You don't see Noam Chomsky types heading the US corporate media do you? Now who kept out the MIT professors with those kinds of ideas? Like I said don't try to teach me what culture and values are or whether structure affects them or not. The person who has no clue about whether "parents" and "grandparents" live in a society or not and claims society comes later is in no position to pontificate about anything. Islam was a factor in educating the Arabs and freeing them from superstition, the Hindu mythologies that have kept your kind in the gutter need to be exorcised from your land instead of blaming the Muslims for what you did to them as a consequence of the partition...

Ans: Alienation existed for SC/ST for longer period of time. Now, only some part of cow belt, such discrimination exists. Other than that, in most part of India, whatever discrimination exists, it is based on economic and social status.

To Masadi:
Cultural/moral value people inherit from parents,grand parents.... Society comes next. You sent your child to mosque for Friday prayer. Your children got involved in rioting, burning of Danish flag for Mo cartoon. At the end of the day, you should teach that his conduct was not proper. Whatever the magazine had done is not in your hand. If magazine is not following the path of truth, people will realise it sooner or later. This small piece of advice will refrain your child from vandalism. Then comes the mosque (society), which calls for jihad and then incite people to resort to violence. If the you inculcate the value of postive thinking, your son may go to mosque, then will listen to sermons/hate speach, but will not take part in subsequent rioting and vandalism. Moslems have to adopt positive approach (leave the process of islamic thinking).

1)I will take your word for it, but to be honest your writings say otherwise. Blaming Uncle Sam for everything wrong in Pakistan or rest of the world like I said is giving too much unwarranted and undeserved credit.

(2)Most of the Chowkies, Pakis in general and people of the world would agree with u on the subject of US led and supported atrocities. There is no debate on this subject. But to defend your views by trashing those who opoose u only weakens your presentation. So, stop being paranoid and savior of the world, have a nice cold beer or meditate do whatever that makes u feel better but stop acting like a jerk.

Ans: Prove it. Is the teacher in class does not teach a particular student as he is moslem? Is the evaluator of exam paper not awarding marks for right answer as the answer is written by a moslem? Does Govt. school refuse admission as the student is moslem? In India, RTI is very much effective. Take the help of RTI to prove that you are discriminated. Mere words does not prove anything.
I my previous post, I have specified why moslems are isolated in India. The reason is more of cultural than religious. After 1993 bomb blast, the ghettoisation is happening due to terror links with moslems. When you find repeated instance of anti-social activities related to a well identified group with proper reason ( people had started searching for economic angle. Now Islamic angle is clear and the involvement of mosques and madressas are evident. Even people like Kuldip Nayar had started admitting it.) How will you integrate such section in a peaceful society? So, the ghettoisation is rapid now, and it will deapen further unless and until moslems change their thinking. Moslem integration is major issue in UK, France, Germany also. I live in Banglore. In recent years, Karnataka (very peaceful state and people are also very good), number of instance of islamic terror links with local muslims are detected. Now, what will be reaction of the society here? Jihadist killing an IISc ( premere research institute in India and is very respected in Bangalore) professor, that too by local moslems...

Nonesense this is not what I wrote, the "fool (his words)" does not know how to read. I wrote that this election farce is a ploy to salvage the army from losing its hold in the power structure due to popular hatred of them, and to discredit the civilian politicians in the eyes of the public to make the military return more digestible to the people. However since this "stop gap" produces side effects and there are other ulterior motives involved, the US might abandon it soon in favor of a dismembered Pakistan. There was nothing in the article about the army breaking up Pakistan, even though it is facilitating it

I didn't read that post and given your fake nature I will probably not be reading many of your posts. You throw them in for distraction purposes. My purpose here is not to change people's minds but to present the facts and truth and argue out my case. Whether they accept or reject it is upto them. Chowk visitors and active chowk posters are different. If you set up a poll it will be biased because the active chowk posters by their reaction to my posts have shown us that their decision is based more on my personality rather than the contents of my posts.

1) I certainly do not, when their actions are untidy and produce unwanted consequences for them like the lawyers movement, or when they unite people like they did after BB's assassination or when their peon feels too independant after a while or when their subordinate military alienates the people who start hating them- all these do not show that the "gringo" is either all powerful or "all thinking". Finally the end where I suggest the protests will liberate this nation also does not suggest the all powerful nature of the "gringo".

(2)By supporting US atrocities, I mean exactly that like tahmed justifying the US invasion of Iraq or the Israeli destruction of Lebanon because a soldier had been kidnapped while ignoring Israeli daily incursions into Lebanese airspace, or when they deliberately try to mask US atrocities by trying to show that even though the US dominates institutions economic, political and military, their victims are somehow responsible for their own misery- these kinds of people I will not tolerate and your best bet if you don't want to see me take care of their posts here is to ban me...
