#145 Posted by akcheema,
ASah ... missed this:
What does "ana-al-huque" mean to you? I am not talking about the literal meaning here. And btw, how do YOU reconcile with YOUR Islam.
Hey ... don't worry whether it reconciles with mine or not. First tell me ... does "ana-al-huque" reconcile with your Islam? If it does as you sound, how? I thought you're a murtid ... err ... atheistic-Muslim (huh?).

Re: # 143 Zeemax you are right. Galib was very good poet compared to little communist type article writes.
Galib himself said " people would have considered him "Wali" saint if he was not addicted to alcohol.
He was proud of his works. so he wrote aptly.
" hoga koi shayer jo Galib ko na jane
Shayer to bhi achha fir be BADNAM bahut hay"
Only he felt Mir taki mir was up to his level. So he wrote ..... agale jamane Mir bhi tha.
Do all pakistanis who are nice back home when go to usa start indulging in alcohol, pork and ganja. I always wonder as when these expaks come brag lot about excessive drinking and sex related indulgence especially with whites women etc. How about relationships with dark skinned people there by expaks or they just like back home prefer fair skined people. I have admiration for foreign going people and making their big way with houses , cars and all wealth there.
Any way I do not support bombers as they make damage more at home and not in Jand K. This is our problem for long time , we are sharsh like tiger with locals and lamb with foreigners due to our fascination with all foren things. Soon new PM will learn lesson without big , overwhelming number of army strength nothing can be done in kashmir you can negotiate and Indians and north koreans have perfected art of negotiate to meet after six months to negotiate again. What is really needed is raising 3 million men army on eastern border , overwhelm 1 million indian army and defeat and then negotiate means ask them to sign of Jand K and peace will come for all time. Now problem is money they do not want to spend money but just on buying mercides, but one tank is better for defence. If no real effoerts are made now we can start writing requium for loss of Jand K. A fairness J be returned and be generous with defeated enemy and gather good wills. Any way good evening to all. I just wonder if JAYP, Laddu or arjun are IIT college graduate or just little college held in little class rooms. I do not think they do not have real good english or thought process . Any way why IIT man or woman will waste time here when they can make heaps of money doing something better, same stands for lahore management Sc dept.
good luck all.

Re: # 159 Zee
I am a doctor and people do get sick any day of the week; without the touch of "prophetic medicine", one can only do their best!

Re: # 150; Hamidm sahib
sorry can't stay for long. Zee is still here and going strong; may be he can throw some light for you!
btw; Here is another interpretation of the same Hadees by someone else, a muslim scholar called Abdul Hafeez (I don't know who he is but that is besides the point):
[Further from brother Abdul Hafiz; may Allah Almighty always be pleased with him.
The Prophet prescribing Camel Urine as medicine:
First of all, let us clarify the reason and story behind the prescription. Some people had become very ill at the time of the prophet, and were suffering from an unknown illness. Their bellies had swollen and they were not in a fit state. Hence, the prophet said to them, that they would find a cure in the milk and urine of a camel and so he sent them out to an area where camels were grazing. These men went to this area and drank the milk and urine. Sure enough, just like the Prophet said, they were cured and became fit and healthy.
However, at the same time, evil thoughts entered their minds and they decided they wanted the camels for themselves. They therefore killed the owner, and made off with the camels. When news of the murder reached the prophet, he sent an envoy to capture the men, and when they were captured and brought before the prophet, capital punishment was meted out to them.
Having read this story, what do we conclude from it? The answering islam team would have us believe that this Hadith means that drinking camel urine is permissible in Islam. This is INCORRECT. The real meaning of this Hadith is that if a person needs to consume an impure and impermissible substance as a cure for an illness, and no other reasonable alternative is available, then it is permissible. In all other circumstances, camel urine is prohibited.
Wassalaam]
May be Zeemax can also explain why HIS interpretation is different and why one should believe HIS version more that Joe Bloggs?
Happy drinking Zee....I told you Barossa Valley Shiraz was much better but you wouldn't listen!!
