Hindu Harijans are Hindus first. Buddhist Harijans are Dharmic. Visit Vipassana (Buddhist meditation) centers and see neo-Buddhist becoming truly Dharmic. In twenty years even the caste politics will disappear. It has already happened in Maharashtra. At least in metroes and cities like Pune upper castes marry into Harijans for love or they did not get deserving one in their own castes.

Mayawati and Kanshiram are much wiser and visionaries. Mayawati coalition consists Bramhin, Thakurs (Kshatriya) and Harijans in UP. In Maharashtra she will partner with Shivsena and even BJP.
