#105 hamidm: i have lots of friends on chowk. sri-paye monkeyman is my friend and runs up and down trees chattering "paki, paki, paki". masadi is my friend - he reads my posts and writes learned comments on them diligently knowing that he will thus achieve greatness on cowk. sri moron11 is my friend - he knows all he has to do is write 20 posts to me and i will throw him one post which i do on my part.
you can be my friend too - all you have to do is keep ridiculing pakistani people and their elected government and that could be the start of a beautiful friendship.

bubba mian,
there is a big difference: 'istanja' is usually done with water in the privacy of your bathroom whereas a 'watwani' is carried out with a stone in public ..... a typical watwani can take anywhere from ten minutes to half an hour during which the subject entertains himself by looking at the 'traffic' ...... it is a fascinating ritual that differentiates a true momin from a casual moslem ......

ajeya: I sympathize with the psychological scars you people suffer from after being ruled by muslims for a thousand years. Just try not to go over the edge, like some other sufferers from india on chowk.

sheikh sahib please come back, the nation needs you .........
.... i was watching capital talk today and almost fell asleep .... even poor hamid mir was dozing off ..... hopefully things will change in 30 days, or i am cancelling my subscription to geo ..... saad rafiq or anyone else cannot replace the irresistable and lovable sheikh sahib ....
sheikh rashid zindabad !

hamidm #116 Good effort, but you need to put your heart into it. Your applauding lota rashid was just as half-hearted as musharraf swearing in his impeachment team today. Even his fake commando accent had lost that touch.

Re: # 113; tahmed
saw you scraping the barrel there; I'd be your friend.
I am not that choosy; I even offered friendship to Zee once or twice!
Hamidm Sahib;
you didn't elaborate on 'watta' usage in the Sunnah for other matters in enough detail for the horrible and paranoid hindoos "so they may understand" to quote God himself! what about the odd/even numbers that I mentioned in No: 108?
Cheers and Khuda Hafiz for now

I think many of the interactors here are maybe ten years old, or brain-dead.
Zardari, Navaz, Shahbaz and even Gilani are only criminals. That is all they are and ever can be; nothing more and nothing less. Pakistani democracy is not something positive. In all probability it is an extremely tragic thing. Pakistan progressed in every respect under Musharraf. He was far too good however and didn't do the sensible thing and hang Nawaz Sharif in 1999. These recent elections were only conducted because not enough criminals were executed at the right time, and the Pakistani public are illiterate and gullible.
The Pakistani public have actually surrendered themselves to criminals because the Americans (through incessant broadcasting of Friends, MTV and advertising Mcdonalds) have convinced them that democracy is somehow cool. This is the actual and ONLY basis of Pakistani democracy. The military have failed to defend Pakistan from itself. Assuredly the criminals will make their money and screw things up and inevitably Pakistan and its wise electorate will devolve back to a situation similar to that back in 1999. Perhaps next time round it may be too late for the Military to bail the nation out. If Musharraf goes, Zaradri shall eventually become PM.
Democracy is a fiction. It does not exist anywhere in the World and never will. Why can't people (particularly these luminaries on Chowk) see something so patently obvious.

#118 akcheema: you can be my friend too. but my friends masadi, arjun, moron11, and urstruly come first. hamidm is trying hard to sound like a lota, but has lost that fizz..just like commando hosni mubarak.

I have a feeling Pakistanis are going to start missing Musharraf even before he leaves, if the politicians in power do not start building and executing on a positive agenda. There are serious economic challenges stemming from global commodity inflation including basic food and energy prices. An anti-Musharraf agenda is not going to solve these fundamental issues.

In other words what this moron is saying is "if you can't beat em join em" nevermind that joining them will bring hardship and death to the vast majority on earth, nevermind that the vast majority will live enslaved lives detached from having any decision in the structures that affect their lives and nevermind that the morons who lead in such undemocratic systems are neither intellectually nor morally fit to be in leadership positions. Democracy where the people whose common heritage the globe is exercise their will and freedom while guaranteeing the basic needs of all is the last best hope for humanity, their growth to their potentiality and for fulfilling the purpose of their creation as suggested by the Quran, "to see which one of you is best in deed"- all other systems are varying degrees of tyranny, idolatory and enslavement. Just because democracy has been coopted by slogans in the world system does not mean you should sell your goddamned soul to the devil....

later....I have better things to do like convince the current day politicians on how best to go against the military and its excrement (shit) that is Musharraf...by the way according to recent research Barack Obama is related to Brat Pitt and Hillary C is related to Jolie. The same researchers tried to trace the lineage of Pervez Musharraf and found out that he was related to a dog named beyghairat who lived somewhere across the border some generations back. This finding vindicates the Daily Telegraph who last year referred to him as a son of a bitch!

gotta go; enjoy!! whatever works for you guys "
Drinking urine and worshipping sex organs sure as hell knocks the socks off the stone part nevermind the fact that such "hygiene" is totally contrary to the Quran that mentions washing with water plain and simple- this hygiene that kept Muslims societies relatively disease free in the middle ages when the Europeans were grovelling in their sh*t (what tahmed likes doing even today grovelling in the white man's sh**) and facing multiple epidemics that wiped out large proportions of their populations as a result....

Pakistanis are going crazy with democrazy, now they are attacking the military.
Next coup with the Us support may not be far away.
from dawn of today.
Milbus: The incumbent army chief has recalled a large number of army officers working on civilian posts. While this needs to be appreciated, there is a need to do more. According to The Washington Post (June 27, 2007), the military reportedly runs a $20bn portfolio of businesses ranging from banks to real estate to bakeries. The new government should ensure that the armed forces of Pakistan are not engaged in business activities. No serving officer ought to be posted in any of its so-called welfare trusts; only retired officers may serve there. The tradition of army generals patronising and heading different business ventures should end.
