1) I'm a Muslim by choice (by birth too).
2) Believe in the One true God
3) Admit that Muhammad (peace on him) is his final messenger.
4) Reject all fake prophets who came after Muhammad (peace on him).

Here is what I indicated earlier. Pak textile industry is on terminal decline and at present the exports are supported by " R and D grants " permissible under WTO. Clearly no one is doing Rand D, it is a simple subsidy and will continue till any country challeges this.

The tragedy is that all the tax payers are supporting the textile sector so that they can earn foreign exchange so that the generals can imprt more of luxury cars.

Govt urged not to take back R&D facility

FAISALABAD, April 11: Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Asim Khursheed has urged the government not to withdrew research and development (R&D) facility.

Talking to Dawn here on Friday, he said the textile industry would be at a crossroads and thousands of labourers would lose their jobs if the R&D facility was withdrawn.

He said the textile sector was the mainstay of the economy and providing jobs to millions of people. However, at present it has been facing numerous problems owing to high cost of production which rendered the exporters helpless to compete in the international market.

He said it was the R&D facility, which made textile exporters to run their businesses smoothly and thousands of workers earn their livelihood.

It is for pakistanis like you to read and cry. It is the true blue muslims, with only the knowledge from the book are engaged in smugling and putting the people of pakistan in hunger.

The reason is simple. The book says, blasphemers should be killed ( one hindu beaten to death in karachi today), elopers should be stoned to death ( a couple stoned to death last week in NWFP)...but the book is silent on smuglimg and there in lies the paki problem. Revise the book to include modern crimes, or get rid of teh book and drop the name islamic republic.

RAWALPINDI, April 11: The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) said on Friday that food prices in Pakistan were increasing because wheat price in the country was lower than in neighbouring countries and wheat flour was being smuggled out.
