Not at all. They have decided to remain restricted to two cities, so it is their choice. Rest of the country feels those cities belong to Pakistan ... not to MQM ... Urdu speakers as a group are not held as enemies yet, but they WILL, just because of MQM.

Sheesh. Why don't you get my point? Pakistan is a very big country with very powerful ethnicities. Urdu Speakers are appearing to stand against ALL of them who're united.

I think NS' second rule was the end of people's democracy for good. The countdown began then. Now it is time to harvest what our ruling elite sowed since then.

I think what happened yesterday in Krachi is enough to cast light on the shape of things to come. The current election and whole drama was just that. Dictator and his new allies have decided to put an end to the uprising of the people.

The Islamic militants are a different ballgame and a force to be reckoned with still. I give them three-five weeks before they start striking again.
