BJ Coomar #208 {"But what can one expect from individuals like you – when a boob-grabber is your PM, a khaki seditious general (of the “Canadian visa” fame) is your president and that charlatan called Mahomed Ali Jinnah is your devta!"}
Coomar,
During the four years that I have been reading HP's articles, he has never been convicted of plagiarism. I wish I could say the same about you.
Now, instead of wasting your time heaping boring insults upon living and dead Paki politicians, perhaps you should be concentrating on solving the numerous problems afflicting yonis back home - you know the land where the sexually harassing Gopi Groper is worshipped as a deity.

"All that hai-tauba has no legitimacy when one sees you day in and day out bashing the chowk ladies (in cohort with the Salim and his thousand nicks) and other sorts of minorities all over the place."
Liar! I may have bashed you more than once
You are not a woman...You maybe gay but that is not woman.
Now can any one guess who is the world renowned stalker here?

Kambakhat Salim and HP,
Your attempts to keep changing the topic are useless, you are both flakes and you know it. Neither of you can cross the threshold necessary to come clean - you simply do not have the "balls"!
One of you is a two-letter nick - which can not get over his misogynistic tendencies and attacks women all over the place, enlisting the support of other like-minded people.
The other one - he is so scared of succesful women - perhaps they stoke his inferiority complex.
Both of you are on the fringes of the Pakistani society - and make half-hearted attempts to sound "legitimate" by sounding more "Pakistani" than the real Pakistanis around here.
And no, Zeemax is not a real Pakistani - merely a Pakistani Arabi-wannabe!

[I don't believe in fate, I don't believe in lies and I don't believe in Allah....]
Do you wanted to get yourself killed or what? I can name a number of Chowk intellectuals here who are all faithful followers of the "religion of peace" who would like to see you stoned to death just for saying that.
I hope you think twice before making statements like that. And if you absolutely must, kindly balance that with some choice galis about Hindus. That might soften it a little for the faithful.
[...but I question if a life of lie and deceit, beginning with the name of Allah and narrowing down and eventually ending in an artificially created and suffocating grave is the fate for the women of Pakistan.]
See, Islamic fanatics (that's a tautology) try to explain away this kind of honor killing by saying "ah! this is a subcontinental problem, nothing to do with Islam". Interestingly, all the honor killings I have heard about in the recent past are all from Muslim countries - Morocco, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Palestine, Iran, Iraq, and of course the best place of all - Pakistan. There might have been one or two by non-Muslims in India, but I don't recall any.

"One of you is a two-letter nick -"
Remember "BJ" was banned, evicted, destroyed and rolled under a tank.
Well you like the article then discuss my post as if you are azra. Defend her position. We will find out how much you care for the topic.
Any serious and intelligent person would discuss not throw temper tantrums!

Re: # 214
Yes, BJ was rolled under a tank and still ticks! And does so under his own name and nick!
Now, the rest of your post...
HP miaN,
There are only two issues that you bring up in that long and rambling post #203 – one, that the author is not objective and two, that she puts up a provocative title.
The Lord knows that is a well-used technique around this site and you have never had issues with that before – why here?
You falsely say – “like many others, I just don’t think this issue is religion specific” – the last time I checked, the Pakistani population was 98% of one religion, perhaps not yours, which would indicate why you are so darn scared to blame it on what you call “… the tribal and the feudal culture…” which exists SOMEWHERE OUT THERE but not in that place called Pakistan.
Somewhere where? Oooops!
Not Pakistan…tauba!
It takes great leaps of imagination and a LOT of dishonesty to make the contrived connection with the OJ Simpson case - but you have tried to do so.
THE OJ Simpson– accused of double murder…
Without accomplices…
Acting alone, on his own…
NOT sanctioned by the society around him. And when the deed was discovered...
Charged through a due process, he slipped through with help of lawyers (you know - the profession of the Jinnah), then finally, he was held accountable in civil court!
Contrast all of that with a society where your brother/father/uncle/dada/baap kills you and the rest of the family stands and watches and then comes together to protect the KILLER.
In HP’s world (let’s not be real worldly here) the two situations are the same.
And then your permanent partner in deed – the Salim – comes praising!
Tweedle dee rising to tweedle dumb!
Yes, honor killing is the continuance of a perverse culture and yet through some strange coincidence, all killers are men and all the killed ones are women. That basic fact misses you by a mile (which gender are you, BTW?)
Yes, honor killing of women is an important subject. So, when was the last time YOU wrote about it? And if somebody does, you make up these flimsy arguments to put the piece down!
Is that the way to handle it seriously and with some purpose in mind? I wonder what THAT purpose is!
The lacks of objectivity in your comments is more than conspicuous! It stands out and shines like a 1,000 Watt light-bulb!

BJ buddhay,
I am a vocal supporter of women's rights in India and Pakistan, and around the world. I have the good example of an activist mother that has brought about significant change in many areas of law concerning Pakistani women.
Azra's voice is valuable. Her bias is offputting, but I'll embrace that as well, if we can lower the bride burnings mother burnings and lynchings in India, and honor killings and other assorted crimes against women in Pakistan.
Now, a decidedly biased voice like hers is welcomed in western circles for various reasons. I frankly don't care about her opinion.
I care about her work.
If she is merely a gala and dinner type of activist, then good for her, but she has little credibility. If she is on the ground and understands the women and where they are coming from, then more power to her, regardless of her personal biases.
However, I am one of those "average" people that just doesn't think that holding a "vagina monologues" play in Kabul is going to bring freedom to women. That approach is alien to that culture.
Once the hangover wears off, I'm sure you'll understand what I wrote. Till then
[note to others: I call Beej a budha on account of the fact that he's an "old" friend and due to his advanced age.]

oh yes, I forgot to address one other senile assertion of the budha (not to be confused with the Buddha):
Zeemax ain't no friend of mine. I am anti fundoos of all sorts. Including the so called "secularist" fundoos.
thanks for reading.

Aejay: Your ALLAH does not play by the rules he tore my sisters pussy apart.
Bjkumar:He did the same to my sister.
