INC was the result of British education. INC was formed mostly by the people eduated in UK/Britain. British society, their administrative system and governance was much better than the way British Govt. was functioning in India. It was to bring parity between both the systems.
If two territories are ruled by same Govt., why not treat two with parity? Britain was way ahead of India in all terms (education, art & culture, engineering and industry).
Oxford , Cambridge and Manchester was famous for education. Eton, Harrow for middle education,
Manchester and Sheffield for their industrial contribution.
Couple of luminaries from Britain during that period - James Watt, William Shakespeare, Isac Newton, Michael Faraday, John Dalton....

The meaning of freedom, democracy etc... was re-infused into Indian society by these British educated people.
New social order was brough by British Govt. That was the reason for it's downfall.

Coming to the Mughals

Mughals had nothing to offer in that sense. They were barbarians/looters and become little civilised after coming to India. The transformation from Ghaji Babur to Akber (little less islamic) had taken 3 generations. What was the civil structure of their own country (agriculture, industry,art & culture,literature, science)? Nothing notable. Babur was from Samarkhand. What could have contributed towards Indian society (apart from being breeding ground of looters/barbarians to plunder India)?

Because of cultural domination of the US which is a factor of global domination, of resources and wealth. The image that the slaves carry of the "promised land" turns sour the moment they land there. The US also has one of the highest out-migration (emigration) rates in the world, because the economic migrants from Mexico, who are returning to the part of the country that was illegally taken from them, keep returing home after a while, as do the other older migrants. Regarding your other allegations they are based only on speculation...

Mughals lost their control before British took over the administration....Rise of sikhs in north and marathas in west was due to the direct rebellion against mughal rule; specially aurangzeb. Jijjiya, sharia,forced conversion and rampant killings, destruction of temples at Kashi etc...issues (islamic barbarism) reached at its peak around late 16th century and early 17th century. Several clans of Rajputs used to support mughals to suppress their rival brothers. Rajputs united and stopped supporting mughals( starting with 17th century)...EIC fought several battles to take control of India...
British had left India in different circumstance. They had to leave for political events, external to India (WWII and UN formation etc...)...British Govt. relinquished its power (handed over) to India...

My kid, a high school senior, for the last four days woke up every morning religiously at 4.00am to catch 5.45 train from Penn Station to Philly, to go watch the Penn Relays (he came back past midnight every day – for the love of the game!!!!). He competed yesterday there with his team in 4x400 (and DMR), they were outclassed, even though they are ranked in NYC, but that’s beside the point. My kids, and millions others are not chasing American dreams (because they are the standard bearer of one). It’s the losers who have nothing to show for that are looking for excuses for their own failures and that conveniently blame others for their own misery.

Masadi you asked me to teach my kids the “truth”? They can teach you a thing or two, though it may not be possible in your case.
