Shansiddiqui, your patience and resilience is impressive:)
Whom are you trying to reason with? These people are beyond reasoning. They hate their army because it tries to do its duty of defending Paksitan from dangers within or from outside its borders. They argue for sake of argument, not to know better. Time will decide who is right and who is wrong but I am afraid these Pakistanis will be the first ones to abandon the ship!!
People like you and Saima should give up. Let Pakistan be ruled by corrupt but 'democratic' politicians, let Balochistan be ruled by the offspring of Bugti and declare its' independance', let them dismantle the Army and give the weapons to students and teachers of institutes like the Lal Masjid, let them deal with Pakistan as they deem it fit. Who knows they might succeed where we failed??

zeemax mian,
.... now that musharraf is gone, when do we start the next movement for the 'restoration of democracy and the rule of law' in pakistan? ..... this zardari guy is already beginning to get on my nerves and the catamite of gowalmandi, nawaz sharif, is making me sick to the stomach ..... i keep on imagining zardari, asfandyar, altaph bhai and maulana diesel naked in bed with nawaz sharif holding up a lamp so that they can carry on with their orgy - it is a nauseating thought !
go zardari go !

Greetings!
This acronym (AO-PAO) has the potential to be funny in Punjabi. Copyright it right away!
The 'war on terror' started with Rafiq Tarrar being shown the door! (Essence of a line from one of my 'banned-Chowked' articles)
:)
PS: I own the copyrights of the term 'banned-Chowked'.

All THIS support from Pakistani-Americans
No no Tahir Sahib, the ones on this particular forum are what I call Americans-Of-Pakistani-Origin, or in short AO-PAOs (same as the meaning in Punjabi).
Pakistani Americans are different though you won't find them here, but on sites like PKPolitics or FriendsKorner.

You say:
"It is (Pakistan) drifting more towards Islam."
I do not agree. It is not drifting to Islam but to Saudi 'Wahabi-ism' or what Allama Iqbal described as 'Deen-e-Mulla' or 'Deen-e-Fassad'.

oh, be matured...Indians have nothing to do gain from Mush...All external players (including NATO) relied on Mush to turn Pakistan into a civilised country. India was part of it. India tried to re-evaluated situation in Pakistan for post Mush era... Unfortunately it looks worse...It is drifting more towards Islam. It is bad news not only for India, large number of other countries too...

Islam is deep into Pakistani society (22 carat for general public). India should have expected this sort of stuff....

Mush had tried to emulate Ataturk of Turkey, but he failed....
Now Mush is removed, Pak will be back to medival arab state again.....

tahmed writes "this was a coward and braggart taking an escape route presented to him for his own self-serving reasons by zardari..."
tahmed sahib, how are you doing? Baal bacha fine? Great to know that you are on the correct side of the equation regarding the deposition of the illegal "president" and dictator. However his deposition came at a time when he was just a figurehead with no real powers. When he had the powers and when he was doing all those horrible things, Zardari was nowhere in the picture but the Americans were and they were strengthening him. Why are you now trying to hide their crimes and removing them from all blame? Please explain your "white worshiping" and quite shameless point of view.
Thank you in anticipation, and have a good day

#95 he resigned in order to avoid facing charges. he used the opportunity to make one last speech to the nation to repeat his usual lies and hollow claims, rather than use the opportunity to apologize or even acknowledge even the more obvious destructive actions he took. where do you see dignity in all this? this was a coward and braggart taking an escape route presented to him for his own self-serving reasons by zardari.
