John McCain’s decision to cancel a campaign event in Michigan next week was not a matter of scheduling: Mr. McCain is giving up his effort to take the state back into the red column, concluding that economic distress there has simply put the state out of reach, according to Republicans familiar with the decision.

Michigan had been one of Mr. McCain’s top targets for two reasons: evidence that Barack Obama was having trouble connecting with blue-collar voters (which presumably would be a problem there), and also because the Democratic candidates did not participate in the state’s primary after Michigan defied Democratic party rules and held it earlier than permitted.

Republican officials said that polling suggested that Mr. Obama was building a lead there, and said they concluded that it wasn’t worth spending any more campaign funds – or Mr. McCain’s time – in the state.

Dear McCain Campaign
Please, let Sarah Palin be Sarah Palin...the real courageous common woman like one of us. Let her free to give interviews at her own ease and at her own pace. Let her answer all the questions based on her true beautiful personality that all of us are in love with right from the beginning. She seems so real and yet so common that almost all of us feel connected with her and with her family. She is one of us. And that exactly what is called real democracy. She owns an average middle class house , she drives a small car and her kids go to common public schools just like all of us.

Sarah Palin is the mirror image of all average American families and that's what we need in White House.
Now upon her experience on foreign policy ....My suggestion is that she shouldn't be ashamed of her inexperience...rather she should openly admit that yes , she doesn't have foreign policy experience because she was not a born VP candidate and that if she would be given a chance to be VP, she will show courage, confidence , wisdom , right judgement and political HONESTY which Obama completely lacks.

Obama on the other hand is an extreme leftist elite who is not one of us and we blue collar middle class folks don't feel connected with him in any way. This man is just BOOKISH and he has absolutely NO experience on anything.

Sarah Palin has much more executive experience than Obama in each and every way and not only that Obama has shown us his lack of insight and right judgement on multiple occasions.

For those who're questioning Sarah Palin's experience...My question is, in that case why on this earth they REJECTED the most experienced, the most qualified, the most intelligent and presidential woman called Hillary Clinton?????

Hillary Clinton warned us over and over again what was coming? economy crisis.....
And she was the only candidate who was for SOLUTIONS FOR AMERICA in all her Town Hall meetings.
While Obama was playing this CHANGE and HOPE (STUPID MANTRA) , while she proved herself over and over again as the real agent of change............

When in Primary we(Hillary supporters) were begging Obama and his supporters to step back and let Hillary lead us in this tough time, they didn't listen......they were too, much in to this Obama Kool Aid.............

Now, I am still die hard Hillary supporter,but, sorry.......I can't support Obama for his inexperience and unqualified resumes of NO credentials...

I feel much at ease in an old comfortable shoe called McCain, rather than trying some new misfit uncomfortable shoe called Obama specially in this time of crisis nationally and internationally.]]]

Anyway,as you can see tahmed and hamid are both pissed at my posts and are up to their usual bs just because my posts discredit the objects of their worship. In fact they respond to my post much like any Taliban would, were his narrow world view and distortion of Islam challenged. Therefore supporters of the US elite and the Taliban (that leech of the US elite)are quite alike in their mentality.
