Hari...
"Not that elections are safe in Shantanu Dutta's Waste Bengal. Trinamool Congress workers are routinesly attacked with scythes by the ruling Communist Party workers and even killed. Shantanu Dutta should know: he probably treated some of the injured...."

Not actually.....keeping in mind of indian society, elections are less corrupt now-a-days than any other event......

Actually, sleeping is better. Or having samosas and tea in the movie theater's lobby.

Last year, elections were held for the Municipal Corporation of Chennai, the fourth largest metropolis in India. A week before the elections, Doctr Artist Leader the Fund of Compassions released hundreds of thugs from prison on parole. On election day, these thugs entered polling stations and stuffed the ballot boxes, while the police looked on unconcernedly.

The farce was broadcast on all TV stations. The High Court at Chennai ordered repoll in 99 out of 167 constituencies (60% of all councillorships) which the opposition parties (including those who are in coalition with the minority government of Doctor Artist Leader the Fund of Compassion) boycotted.

Replying to newsmen's questions about the conduct of the elections, Doctor Artist Leader the Fund of Compassion said that all allegations of improper conduct were motivated by the fact that the state's chief election official was an MBC. He didn't give them time to ask thay while that might be true of Uppercaste people questioning the conduct of the elections, why it would be true of the Muslim justice of the High Court.... unless of course he wants to attribute caste-ism to Muslims too.

Not that elections are safe in Shantanu Dutta's Waste Bengal. Trinamool Congress workers are routinesly attacked with scythes by the ruling Communist Party workers and even killed. Shantanu Dutta should know: he probably treated some of the injured.
